Harry (no family but meets their ghosts later and his mum protects him), Ron and Hermione are like Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura.

Voldemort could be a combination of Orochimaru and Madara, since he was snake-like suddenly revived from the dead, and stole bodies.

Snape would be like Itachi. He begged Dumbledore to save Lily and turned spy saying no one could know, like Itachi begged the Third to spare Sasuke. He was viewed a traitor but was on the good guys side all along.

It's not specific enough to be unique. It's not a very unique idea that someone would get manipulated over a girl and then eventually redeem himself.

A unique idea is something like the movie Dark City

Where people live in a noir city where it's constantly night time and is eventually revealed that they were being experimented by aliens to try to find the human soul in order to save their own dying species.

The city itself is a spaceship created for this purpose to fool people into believing it was a real city. They forged memories and each day they stopped time and switched everyone's memories thus creating new lives for them and only 1 man escaped because he evolved out of the process and had the power to alter the city with his mind.

That's unique. But even still, a movie like the Matrix bears remarkable similarity, yet they were released the same year, meaning it was impossible for either to copy one another.
