So why when he absorbed the tech he didn't transform, but when he absorbed the straight chakra he did?

because he was absorbing the natural chakra naruto was giving him....since there was no natural chakra in the jutsu's jiraiya was using, the absorption pain wasn't absorbing any natural chakra

But if Jiraiya did not use Natural Chakra in that tech then as soon as he used it his own chakra levels would drop and he would become unbalanced

read a few of the post....just makin a quick one to say another good chap. dont know if it been said yet but i think its a done deal for kisame. love kisame and the rest of the akatsuki, but i think he just made the same mistake that tayuya made against shikamaru. he no longer has his sword so he can be hurt now AND HE PICKED UP BEE'S SWORD.don't know if he'll die but wit him holdin bee's weapon i can easly see him getin hit witt a lightning attack while holdin it. if not some won will save him, or be's gonna own kisame with his own weapon.....poor kisame R.I.P hope not though

It is not clear wether or not he used natural chakra in that rasengan, so its only oppinion on which he used. If he didn't your right, if he did im right.

tyce that's an interesting point, all shinobi have been brought up to fear the 9tails so yeah, that does make sense...Quite a lot of sense actually.



His facial expression would suggest samehada has liked others' chakras before.

In actuality samehada appears to simply like strong chakras, and as kisame has as much as a tailed beast without samehada, that's why samehada liked him so much.


I am hoping once the 8tails is sealed samehada will go back to Kisame as Kisame will be the next highest chakra.

Of course if Kisame fights Naruto...hmmm...Samehada might like 9tails more.

I really hope Kisame survives he's only just started to show himself off.

Either way, he wiped Bee out incredibly fast by himself, I dont think any Akatsuki has taken out a Jinchuriki that fast, and even more amazing is its the 8tails, and he got him in under an hour (or so it seems)

Had samehada not betrayed Kisame itd be a 100% ownage, but now bee might get a hit back.

I'd love to see Kisame vs Jiraiya, because in theory Toads can breathe underwater so J-man wont have to worry about suffocating in that giant ball of water Kisame used.

I think it goes without saying that the strongest akatsuki duo is Kisame & Itachi hands down.

Kisame sucks your chakra dry, and you have to not look at itachis eyes or body as he can cast genjutsu with just a finger, while youre suspended in water with 2 minutes of oxygen left, with amaterasu burning you and susanoo covering both of them from attack.

Damn thats one hell of a combo

When you're comparing two characters if you take away one trump card you HAVE to take away the other characters. Its ridiculous to compare them if they're both not at full strength. Should we take away Nagato's 6 paths of pain? The bodies he uses aren't his so technically they're weapons, no? Every character that uses puppets are using weapons, so should we take away their puppets? How about we take away Orochimaru's Kusanagi sword and Itachi's sword of Totsuka and Yata mirror. Those were accessory items. I'm sure without them Itachi isn't the God some believe him to be. While we're at it lets take away ma and pa from Jiraiya because they're certainly not a part of him. Or lets take away everyone's summons, because they aren't part of the characters. I guess we should just get rid of the whole character of Ten Ten (if she still exists) because all she uses are weapons. All of the Bijuu are not "part" of the characters they are in. They're simply sealed into them. They could have been sealed into any other person in the Narutoverse, just has Samaheda could have been given to any member of the mist who became strong enough to be a swordsman.

Whether he wins this battle now samehada has betrayed him isnt important.

The point is Kisame owned Bee in a matter of 2 chapters, hell yeah Kisames awesome.

I really hope Samehada doesn't go though, im sure a lot of Kisames strength is samehadas ability.

Also Kisame knows samehada more than anyone, looks like samehada needs physical contact to take chakra, so hopefully Kisame can get 8tails away fast enough, kicking samehada is obviously effective otherwise Kisame wouldnt bother doing it. He knows his sword so he knows its weaknesses.

I dont think Madara is going to enjoy Kisames news though.

Dare i say it but Kisame is probably not akatsuki level without samehada, he himself has a buttload of chakra sure, but samehada gives him a massive edge.

8tails was useless against Kisame, and the funny thing is this definitely wraps up whether Kisame was being sarcastic about being scared of Jiraiya.

Kisame was definitely being sarcastic most of the time throughout naruto series, he is BADASS.

8 Tails does not have ultimate chakra, the Juubi does, im not even sure if Hachibi has unlimited chakra

It may not be a part of the ninja but it's still the ninja who decides how to use it. They are tools and ninja are meant to use them. When in sage mode, the ninja is storing natural energy in and around their bodies so that they can mix it and balance it with physical and spiritual energies to create techniques. When Preta path Pain absorbed Naruto's energy, he was absorbing straight natural energy, physical energy and spiritual energy. It was balanced but not yet mixed. Since Pain didn't know how to balance it, he petrified. When Preta Path absorbed Jiraiya's Giant Rasengan and the sage combo tech Goemon, the three energies were already balanced and molded into a stronger chakra and there was no need for Preta Pain to balance it differently from regular chakra.

I agree. I'm still not impressed with Kisame- so far he has been too dependent on his sword and since it's a live sword and think on its own- he didn't show much personal skill -just having enough chakra to keep it attached to him and his water jutsu to get his enemy on his own terf.

Having loads of chakra made him better user of Water jutsu than Zabuza- but Zabuza somehow impressed me more... Just personal opinon.

What irked me was someone showing obivious signs of fanboyism, accusing others of it to dissmiss others rationale without proper argument.

Withou hachibi Killer Bee is nothing, he only managed to make that whole with help from Hachibi. Plus kisame can't do anything to kill Killer Bee, one the otherhand Killer Bee can kill Kisame, so its tough for Kisame to win

The fight was pretty dull till Samehada was kicked. I would love to see that part in the anime.
