Whether he wins this battle now samehada has betrayed him isnt important.

The point is Kisame owned Bee in a matter of 2 chapters, hell yeah Kisames awesome.

I really hope Samehada doesn't go though, im sure a lot of Kisames strength is samehadas ability.

Also Kisame knows samehada more than anyone, looks like samehada needs physical contact to take chakra, so hopefully Kisame can get 8tails away fast enough, kicking samehada is obviously effective otherwise Kisame wouldnt bother doing it. He knows his sword so he knows its weaknesses.

I dont think Madara is going to enjoy Kisames news though.

Dare i say it but Kisame is probably not akatsuki level without samehada, he himself has a buttload of chakra sure, but samehada gives him a massive edge.

8tails was useless against Kisame, and the funny thing is this definitely wraps up whether Kisame was being sarcastic about being scared of Jiraiya.


Itachi & Kisame vs Jiraiya = Jiraiya owned.

Kisame was definitely being sarcastic most of the time throughout naruto series, he is BADASS.

Orochimaru says in the manga that Itachi is much stronger then him and that Itachi was the reason he left Akatsuki.

Orochimaru is not much weaker then Jiraiya if any..

Well he's survived this long and didn't look bothered about the solo mission to capture the 8 tails host, so it shouldn't have been any surprise that his strength level is high. Most of his strength comes from the Samehada w/o a doubt. It's provided him immense offense and defense for many years. You could really see Kisame panic when it abandoned him.

If Kisame delivers Killer Bee to Madara then I don't think Madara will care much about the Samehada. He's just after the beast afterall. Though Kisame's main power plus his cloak is off which isn't a very good sign for his survival.

On the vs Jiraiya part. Well that's part of being a legendary figure amongst shinobi's. He was more well known so Kisame had reason to be cautious.

I doubt they were afraid of Naruto.....in their next encounter Kisame simply used Samaheda once to take away Naruto's chakra and then joked about cutting off his legs. They were in no way scared of him. They only decided to flee after Jiraiya had shown up.

His facial expression would suggest samehada has liked others' chakras before.

In actuality samehada appears to simply like strong chakras, and as kisame has as much as a tailed beast without samehada, that's why samehada liked him so much.


I am hoping once the 8tails is sealed samehada will go back to Kisame as Kisame will be the next highest chakra.

Of course if Kisame fights Naruto...hmmm...Samehada might like 9tails more.

I really hope Kisame survives he's only just started to show himself off.

Either way, he wiped Bee out incredibly fast by himself, I dont think any Akatsuki has taken out a Jinchuriki that fast, and even more amazing is its the 8tails, and he got him in under an hour (or so it seems)

Had samehada not betrayed Kisame itd be a 100% ownage, but now bee might get a hit back.

I'd love to see Kisame vs Jiraiya, because in theory Toads can breathe underwater so J-man wont have to worry about suffocating in that giant ball of water Kisame used.

I think it goes without saying that the strongest akatsuki duo is Kisame & Itachi hands down.

Kisame sucks your chakra dry, and you have to not look at itachis eyes or body as he can cast genjutsu with just a finger, while youre suspended in water with 2 minutes of oxygen left, with amaterasu burning you and susanoo covering both of them from attack.

Damn thats one hell of a combo

ahaha is not that simple. Itachi can't use the Mangekyo much.
In this new episode of the Anime 135-136,Itachi was almost blind while fighting Sasuke,you can watch it in the episode and when i say almost is like 98% blind already.
Just goes to show how much stronger Itachi was then Sasuke.

of course we never saw kisame's full potential. you guys should know that by now. but saying that kisame is on jiraiya's level is still stupid. you guys seem to forget that sage chakra is infinite if you have both pa and ma frog. they CONSTANTLY gather nature's chakra as long as nature chakra exists. so kisame can swipe at jiraiya all he wants, jiraiya won't phase out of sage mode at all. and if kisame tries to trap jiraiya in water.....lol....he's only trapping himself. jiraiya is god at trapping poeple. he would just create a barrier ninjutsu inside the water and kill kisame just like how he did to the summoning pain. or toad mouth trap....or what have you.

p.s. he's still gonna die... kishi said bee kills an akatsuki member in an interview once... and samehada healed bee a bit and is gonna be pissed that kisame kicked it XD

I'm a little confused by the hypocrisy of the original post.

You suggest that Kisame is stronger than Killer Bee, yet then go on to explain the rather obvious factor that Kisame would in fact, be lost without Samehada?
So surely, that means Kisame is weaker than Killer Bee.
Without Samehada, his sword & trump card, he would lose this battle, and now his sword has switched sides. So that would make Killer Bee stronger, wouldn't it?

How can you say that samehada betraying kisame isn't important? if it wasn't for samehada healing kisame and stealing chakra he would've been beaten 7 frames after they faced off with KB. the one and only reason kisame is still standing right now is because of samehada. with out samehada, kisame probably would've started the fight differently, i think we can all agree on that, but samehada is the reason kisame is still standing atm. and KB wasn't even fighting him in the water at first. he was distracted with saving his friends. still, since we have no idea how kisame would fight with out samehada it's hard to make guesses how good he is with out it. I'm not doubting that kisame is a powerful ninja on his own with out samehada. i'm just saying that in this fight kisame relied heavily on samehada.

Kisame obliterated Killer Bee. The only part that is even unclear is what Killer Bee is doing with his sword after he grabs Kisame with his tentacles.

Still, Kisame beat Bee into unconsciousness without taking any damage. Honestly, Kisame/Itachi were an out of this world combination.

Why didn't Madara obliterate Konoha, again?

exactly .. Kisame would turn into frog against jiraya .. and even TSKYUMI wont work of jiraiya since ma and pa are channeling chakra into HIM .. just Like Bee vs sasugay !! ..

I agree with both of you.

Kisame has shown no real skill himself till now except skillfully kicking Samehada at the right time- And he was able to do that because unlike KillerBee, he understood what it was trying to do right away- Being it's master for years.

His chakra level was high - but without his sword he would have been out of the game. Jiraiya 's sage chakra would have made him a stone toad.

I wonder if Killerbee's teacher would be able to ward him off at the moment- looks like he might.

I heard that interview was fake, plus you can't say Kisame without samehada would of been owned because that is not fair that ee would still have Hachibi, so if your going to look at the fight that way you would have to look at bee woithout the hachibi.
