1. If you are referring to the large number of "religious" terrorists, they do not properly their religion. Al-Qaeda brake almost every Islamic rule of peace. They use religion as a way of brain washing people to do their bidding and support them.

2. The rules come with sanctions. Only God may properly judge - others should not look down on another human being (although I'm sure everyone on Earth does it, this is part of God's test IMO).

I said earlier that god has helped guide other people to another person. I have intact believed in god and used the bible to help shape the characteristics of my life. My mannerisms, the way i behave, and the way i used to think, it was all the bible. But after i saw this a few months ago, i started to think, then delved into physical cosmology. I did not instant become an atheist, the video just opened the door, i walked into that door on my own, i was craving knowledge, i wanted answers, and i got them. Do i was still a catholic, yes. Americans frown upon atheists. Just because we have different views does not make us a bad person. We could say the same about christians, but i don't. I have high respect for other peoples views, i just have my own.

Religion was used to control, yes, but it was never religion's purpose. You cannot argue with the fact that it's religion that gives some people strength to live another day, and in general - makes them often more optimistic - because they believe. And even if God is not proved scientifically, placebo is pretty much a fact - your thoughts affect your physical condition.

No science is not how god made everything, science IS everything. If you were never introduced religion to by you parents, would you believe that there is a god. Can't be proven wrong because it was such a long time ago.
I believe there were wise men who came up with these rules and said they were from God himself so that people would follow them (or be punished by this "God") It was a simple way to make people surrender to their rules.

Granted, many of these rules brought up moral standards and I applaud them for how they have shaped people into caring for each other (somewhat). However, to say that God gave them to people.... I highly doubt that.
If God did so, why do these rules have to be changed? Why do they get outdated? Why are there so many different sets that contradict? Why do they put down women, gays and others just because they were born a certain way? Didn't God make them as well? Why are they so imperfect?

I believe that there may well be a God but I do not believe that these false, ignorant rules were made by God. U_U

yeah i posted the link atleast 3 separate times >_> and its because someone else toke it read the biography of him in the link i posted This priest used since to prove god the big bag was "let there be light" but no one belived him because his math was off then many years later someone who did his math much better got full criedt and it wasn't accepted as a god theory
