Woah woah woah. Hold up. There are multiple things wrong with this post. The biggest offender is you insisting an "experienced player" must subscribe to the same philosophy you do. This is asinine. You don't know how I play, and you don't know how much value it can serve. Secondly, the foundation of this assertion is completely wrong. This is the post I made my reads in:

Do you see how I specifically call them "early reads"? That is to say, they're quick fire things that I am in no way stuck on. Why are you pushing the idea that I'm somehow claiming that these reads are solid ones that have a lot of basis to them? I have repeatedly said in this thread that my reads are fluid and open to evolving. I need tyou to address this ASAP, because otherwise this is straight up BS.

What? How am I supposed to check his meta myself? Do you have any idea how little I value metagaming in this game? Of course I'm assuming things - I have to do so. It's my first proper game on this community. This is why I asked you for clarity. I'm also not sure what you mean by rushing? Look, I'm going to ask this once. Please do not just to conclusions in my posts that aren't there. I'm not prepared to waste my time explaining every last reach you're making if this is the standard of play you are bringing to the table. I mean, I am, but it's obnoxious as hell for me to do so. Take a step back, and try to see what it actually is I'm saying.

Please don't patronise me on the basics of Mafia. It's neither welcome nor appreciated. My point, which you have so woefully missed, clearly - is that the fact I am not voting for any of them is indicative of me not feeling particularly strong on any of my scum reads (or reads at all, actually). So your assertion that I must be looking for a quick lynch (this early in day 1, too...?) doesn't stand up to reason. So the issue here is that you're refusing to consider my behaviour, and instead you're jumping to conclusions that you want just to make it easier to address what I'm saying. That isn't going to fly. My vote is on who it is for a reason.

Of course they might. Have you seen me push this solely as a scum point? No. But I don't owe you any presumption of innocence. Especially when you have spun your own tales regarding what it is I've done and said. I made an observation - one that has sent you reeling into an overly-defensive spiral for reasons I'm honestly not sure why. I didn't even have you on my scum list!

Also, quick thing I wanted to address re: Luk. I did mention I didn't think he was playing seriously... but that was in the beginning. That's long since been retracted. What prompted the lack of seriousness read was posts 5, 6, 7 and 20. That's just from page 1, and I could easily include a couple more in there. Now Michelle claimed that the read on Luk is based on whether he makes serious posts or not. So when I saw what I feel are pretty clearly not serious posts, I thought "hmm, that should be scum meta then". But it wasn't, Michelle dismissed is as NAI. Hence my confusion as to how Michelle is actually meta reading Luk. A meta read Michelle insists I should inform myself on. And yet the best I can get is "he makes some serious posts at all then he's town". It seems like such an arbitrary and weird way to establish a meta, but whatever.
