No. After the jutsu and their effects are done with is when the fight is over. This is getting out of hand. Someone call in damage control.

So after the ninja is killed or has giving up or cannot fight the fight is still going??????????????????????????????? lmmfao!!!!!!!!!! I get what others argued, but what you just stated defied every thing that is VS in the universe!

how can someone fight a person when they are dead? if the person can no longer fight, then that determines when the match is over.

jutsu and their effects are simply tools used to end the fight quicker, they dont determine when its over. its only over when the opponent is unable to do anything else to fight

Sacrifice, not suicide. In suicide attack the user and opponent die together. Gai isn't dying anytime soon. For all we know, he will die later of exhaustion.

If Gai had to fight anybody other than Madara using 8th Gate, he would kill that person in 1 second and do 10000 push ups before death. How is that a tie?

That's like Sasuke Raikage power bombing a ninja 100 feet from the sky and they die. The Raikage also suffered major damage. He later is hospitalized and dies months later. Is it still a draw?????

So if i understand this right.

Hiruzen and Oro's fight from back in part 1 has only just ended since RDS was still in affect until Oro got them back from the reaper?.

>Madara uses meteor
>Part closest to the ground smushes Onoki
>Half a second later kills Madara

Did Madara win? No, he died from his own jutsu, which in my book is a draw. This is seriously getting out of hand. Lol

How did Gai win exactly if he is dead?

And again how is a ritual the same as gates? When you have to complete the ritual on said Opponent to complete it and both die. Compared to Guy who can fight long after killing said opponent.

Basically to get what I'm saying you have to know sports/boxing/Real life fighting. A ritual isn't the same as a transformation period.

After you use them you inevitable die. You also have no other way to deal with your opponents, do you use jutsu that require you to sacrifice your life. Very similar.

So if i understand this right.

You are twisting my words or mentally ill? The fight ended once Hiruzen died and Orochimaru was still alive. Hiruzen, even using RDS, lost by dying and not killing his opponent. If he killed Orochimaru with RDS, it would have been a tie.

SO if i grab a chunk of rock that is extremely hot, throw it at the opponent and kill them. LAter i go to teh hospital and find out im bleeding internally because of the burn on my hand from the rock, then die later. Is that a draw even though the opponent been died?

You died from wounds that occurred in the fight. What do you think?

not sure how that makes sense since the meteor is too large to make a distinction of who died first based on their location. when the meteor lands, if madara is near the edge then he may survive, which is highly unlikely since all he does is call a meteor to his location, and the size of the meteor would be too big for him to try to avoid anyways.

Comparing it to gais battle is a bit much since it can be decided whether or not who dies first based on who is the last one standing. if the somehow end up killing each other at the same time, then its a tie.

Show me the RITUAL being completed and the RD gone with the user unaffected. Then you can say it is EXACTLY THE SAME. Not half sealed or non factors being sealed.

Again the concept and mechanics behind RDS are not the same. RDS is a ritual that ends with both sealed (fact). Not side pieces or clones. The goal and contract was "Seal Ninja A", once ninja A has been sealed COMPLETELY the ritual is over. It is nothing alike Guy in the sense that When RDS is COMPLETE both are sealed (manga fact and databook fact). Gates kill you wayyy later when you decide to let it be or when it reaches it's limit. 2 different Scenarios with 2 different realms of workings.

Another example. I have a Electro magnetic bomb in my heart, the bomb is designed to selfdestruct and kill Ninja A when it comes in contact with ninja A only! But it can kill ninja b, ninja c, ninja d (they can be summons, clones, dirt, water). But Ninja A is teh intended target, once it reaches ninja A, they both Die at once! Untill Ninja A goes down ninja b, c, d, z doesnt matter since the goal was ninja A. That is basically how RDS works based on manga facts and real life myth Rituals in some religions.

Now ask your self how does the ritual concept work like Guy?

That's a hypothesis you're making, but it was later proven false.

Minato already had a goal (seal half the Kyuubi - middle right panel), this means the "contract" was complete as soon as Minato sealed half the Kyuubi (manga fact). Yet, he stayed around afterwards.

Take into consideration Hiruzen sealing Tobirama and Hashirama, then going on to seal Orochimaru. It makes sense. In fact, if the contract was to seal Oro's soul, then it wouldn't have settled for just sealing his arms.

Yet, we can see Hizuren's soul has been extracted from his body while Oro still retains his soul.

It's based on the same principle.

I'm boxing with my opponent in the Grand Final of a tournament, and I beat him to pulp. Then I go home with the trophy, and die off constipation 5 hours later because he punched my gut so hard during the fight.

Is it still a tie? lol

It was a serious question. Not testy, just worried how you got your point out of anything I said.

If it is a battle with no other objective than just killing your opponent/winning against him then yes,it should be considered as a draw.

I'm not sure what you're getting at? If he dies months later, it wasn't his attack that killed him. Suffering major damage does not equal death.

If you are in tournament, and you kill your opponent at cost of your life. Then that is a draw. Or either no one is the winner.

RDS isn't the same as gates though, RDS seals both at once.
Yet, Hiruzen survived longer than EDO Tobirama and Hashirama. RDS takes time to kill the user, more time than is necessary to seal an opponent.
