So was the point of your thread to say that Kamui can be cancelled out by Shinra Tensei or not? Because that's what your title implies, but it seems like your explanation proves you wrong, unless I'm missing something (and I could very well have).

Shinra Tensei pushes out. Kamui pulls in. The difference between your example and what would actually happen is that blackholes typically both pull mass in, which creates the tension between them (gravitational pull) that will either make one cancel the other out or both of them cancel out.

It's just like a game of tug of war. Let's say two people grab each other's hands and start pulling. If the person on the left is stronger than the person on the right, then the person on the right gets pulled in and vice versa. If they are of equal strength, then either they will both remain in the same place or they will lose grip, thus cancelling out both players by disrupting their pulling ability. The key here though is, they are both pulling.

But if the person on the left is pulling (Kamui) and the person on the right is pushing(Shinra Tensei) then the person on the left wouldn't be cancelled out or pulled in at all. The person on the right's pull would be cancelled out and he would be sucked in since he is pushing his force toward the center of gravity to the person on the left, in other words, he is actually helping the person on the left pull.

Kamui pulls towards it's own center of gravity. Shinra Tensei pushes away from it's own center, and would push outward toward Kamui if they were both used at the same time. This does nothing to disrupt Kamui's pull, it actually helps it. Think of it this way, If Shinra Tensei is pushing someone away, while Kamui is trying to suck them in at the same time, what would actually happen is Kamui would suck them in faster than normal, since it has the added force from ST helping it.

I think the jutsu you meant to say was probably Bansho Ten'in, which is just like Shinra Tensei except it pulls in. Bansho Ten'in could possibly cancel Kamui if it pulls hard enough, but Shinra Tensei could never cancel out Kamui

ill explain this simple as i can

shinra tensai is a jutsu that PUSHES/PULLS gravity by using a gravity control ability to changes the pressure in the air and use it against you. PERIOD

kamui is a jutsu that ABSORBS "matter" by using a space/time ability to control the flow of "matter" in the air and then sends the "matter" into another dimension. PERIOD

if shinra tensai is used against kamui, it will get absorbed, because shinra tensai isnt doing anything but moving "matter" around with gravity control by pushing/pulling it. Now when this "matter" is moved by shinra tensai, kamui will STILL absorb it by breaking the flow of "matter" in the air and force it into another dimension.

therefore kamui will absorb shinra tensai

here is a example: you get into a fight....a fat guy has a punch that weighs 200 pounds (gravity from shinra tensai)......while your punch weighs only 100 pounds (absorption of matter from kamui)....if he swings at you (shinra tensai), and you grab his fist (kamui), then his fist will not harm you at all BECAUSE you can stop his fist (gravity) by pulling in his fist and throwing of his balance/control (change of flow in "matter" from kamui by absorbing the gravity in the punch)

and therefore kamui will literally break shinra tensai and might even absorb the user if their close enough

but this is naruto...whatever kishi says goes

I think you forget that Naruto defies the law of physics and gravity. Regardless, using kamui to become transparent would slip right through shinra tensei anyhow.

The only real reason we wont have any black holes on earth is the millisecond a black holes gravitational force is applied near to the earth all of the atmosphere and light on and around the planet would disappear into it rendering the planet void.

You cant use physical principles in a manga that uses its own laws of physics - please go back to school and pay attention in science classes this time.

You cant push or pull Gravity ! It's a force as it is. Push/Pull is a force that can be experienced by something that has mass. Force is the rate of change of momentum, Momentum is a property of mass.

And Gravity is solely attractive in nature. Pushing something away using gravity is meaningless.

Hey everyone! this is my first post and im been on the base just never made a name so i guess im considered new here.

Any ways, i want to speak out upon this post due to the fact that it made me a little agervated. I have a PHD in physics( not phyusices) or however the o.p was spelled out. Not to knock you sound like you do have some minor studies in my field but however our field does not or can not i should say relate to the world of Naruto!

First off, if you studied physics even at a high school level you would have learened that ENERGY cant not be created nor destoryed! Um all of Naruto is based off the fact that they can create their own enengry and harness it to do many different things.

So if you were to agure real life physics into the world of Naruto all things related to our universe does not and can not be used in the Naruto Universe. Valid points but sorry it does not and will not work.....

and for the sake of agurment, Pains power of central gravity is more related to teleknieses then gravity due to how he uses it. Mabye if he accutalty used gravitional forces to destory his enemies i would give you that but he ever really did was pull/push which makes me beleive it was more of a teleknieses rather than gravity.

Secondly Kumai( however it is spelled) is not a blackhole due to the fact that its power sends you to another dimension therefore meaning that it is a worm hole not black hole cause black hole is mostly anti-matter which is why we real life physicists cant not fully study them.

I love your thought process but this is invalid, sorry man. Dont mean to bring the rain but one cant relate to the other due to the basic laws of physics already being destoryed.

even if i agree that kamui uses the force of gravity to suck in/Warp stuff, note that Obito used kamui while falling in his fight vs konan. so by your logic obito shouldn't be able to use kamui at all cuz he is always under the force of gravity and ofcourse the earths gravity force is far greater than Obito's warping force but we can see thats not the case cuz Obito has used kamui at probably all positions and all angles....

you should stop embarrassing yourself.. the Event Horizon is the point of no return in a black hole, like the outer boundary - has nothing to do with polarities as an event horizon does not have a pole, Kamui is the principle of opening a portal to another dimension at a distance, Shinra Tensei and Bansho Tenin are just the rinnegan user increasing their own gravitational force or decreasing it, Chibaku Tensei is a extremely high gravity singularity which can collect matter around itself and can also be destroyed, whereas a black hole is a singularity from which not even light can escape and as far as modern physics understands cannot be destroyed only increased in size/force
