Get what you saying :) But the singularity uses gravity to pull in its matter. See what im saying?

Well tobi creates an opposing singularity from the other dimension against kakashis kamui, which is why he can close it at will.

Have you read any of my posts? I mention in them that it would require a powerful gravitational force akin to an actual black hole in order for it to actually work.

I read your posts. I wasn't talking about them, just the others who were saying that shibaku tensei was like a black hole.
That thread is actually great, at first I had thought that it was only a nagato fanboy thread but I were wrong. People here bring nice theories, I learned a few things lol

True but singularity requires gravity at disposal, without that its just a rift or a portal. IF Shinra Tensei can use the gravity of the singularity to either push it away from it, the singularity might just cancel out because of no gravity reach. Shinra Tensei doesnt need to create a singularity to counter Kamui, just gravity itself.

Like Einstein says, "To every action there is a reaction". And every action there is a accomplice needed.

^^ this is true

and Shinra Tensei cannot create that singularity

It doesnt have a singularity, but it also has a focal point, which is Nagato/pain himself, which is why he would have to be directly in the very center for it to even work

@Megatolium, I am not physicist but I don't think it works like that. Kamui tears up the spacetime continuum at a set point. I can't see shinra tensei pushing that point. Shinra tensei doesnt distort or ''move'' space, all it does is move some matters.

Honestly I dont know how this works either. But maybe Kishimoto will show us if he had the same idea. For now its just theory.

Actually, gravity does distort space/time, but it is so significant that it is almost unnoticeable. Black holes create wells in fabric of space that are so deep that it actually distorts space/time itself

Imagine a 3-D grid of space. Mass causes small dips in that space which is what creates gravity. Many celestial objects only create a small dent in that fabric of space because it is not massive enpugh to create a well that distorts the fabric of space itself. A black hole is caused by a singularity that is so small and massive that causes a deep well in the fabric of space, which is why it distorts the space/time around it.

That is why, in theory, an opposing force from that singularity however with the same amount of gravitational force could temporarily close that "rift" in the space/time distortion.

Just ( tried to ) read a bunch of articles on wikipedia, I feel dumb now lol. Anyway, right or wrong, nice theory, you actually put some effort into it.

i don't think it would cancel it out. it wont work that way. Shinra tensei PUSHES, while kamui ABSORBS .
According to me , If nagato PUSHES with some force, kamui would simply absorb that Force.
Two forces MUST BE IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION, to cancel out each other.
(in your theory, they are in same direction.)

BUT yea, nagato can still use bansho tenin (with which he attracts objects towards him) but neither nagato or madara have so much pulling power that they overcome kamui itself.
And if they do have such a powerful bansho tenin, still it would NOT CANCEL KAMUI, they would just attract kamui to itself.

(IF YOU HAVE SOME PROBLEM UNDERSTANDING, just see 2 vaccum cleaners, first set them on 'absorb'/'vaccum' mode (that would be kamui and bansho tenin) and then let one on 'push' 'mode and other remain at vaccum mode(shinra tensei and kamui) )

Shinra Tensei pushes outwards ans Kamui inwards O-o

Btw I'm applying Einsteins laws of physics

You can't really apply real life physics to Naruto. What you said makes sense though.

Yeah, but they're not used from the same point in space. Using Shinra Tensei AGAINST Kamui is (kinda) like using Bansho Tenin when YOU'RE using Kamui.

I doubt it could work, but it would be incredibly funny to see someone use Bansho Tenin to force Obito out of his "teleportation".

Well scientifically its possible like there is no tomorrow, though what -Logic- said, human laws of physics don't apply to the Naruto World.

BUT if Kishimoto happens to do this, let it be, it would be reasonable.

This is just a theory.

Everything you said made sense, except maybe the whole black holes don't form on earth, it's been theorized that they do, but again theory, not proven.

None the less I think it's hard to compare the physics in our world with that of the Naruto world, because after all Naruto is a fictional story where the unreal happens. Nice thread though, you put in a good amount of detail and effort to help prove your theory, well done!
