as lud makes his way closer to the city, he can start to see the damage in full; the black clouds over the city block any light from entering, the screams of the stragglers left behind, the building reduced to rubble.

"I bet you want to say something along the lines of: in the end it wont matter, because well beat you, but i retort with the fact that even if you beat me, ill still win, even if you are able to kill me, all the innocent lives being sent to polaris, all the children left orphaned, all of the casualties of war....even if you do kill me, youll have to live with the fact that theyll hate you, because in the end, you will be the monster the cast their blame on....."
