The elemental disadvantage good prove fatal the wind chakra that coats the underside could easily be ignited by a jutsu, and cause damage to us the user. It has wide enough movement, allowing skilled targets to possibly counteract. Also, the opponent must be knocked into the air for the tecchnqiue to follow through correctly, otherwise it would be a waste of chakra.
The advantage of the technique, id the fact you could easily kill an opponent with the sheer power of the technique, while looking badass while you do :3

After using, the enemy falls from high up in the sky, hitting the earth with great force, causing further damage. The user is then left with heavy fatigue and great strain on his leg after using, making taijutsu involving the legs troublesome. His speed also drops considerably after using for some time.

Hm, Kirabi easily transferred the Satsui no Hado chakra to his arm and raised his arm to the sky as he did so, the chakra wafted off of him as ominous as ever, gathering his lightning chakra directly into his arm thereafter, B proceeded in slamming his fist into the ground. As he did so a streak of purple lightning struck into the ground the shockwave of Hado and Lightning energy produced a shockwave throughout the subsequent ground around him. This one was much more powerful then the makeshift technique Kirabi he learned long ago.
