I understand Sasuke and his reasoning. I understand what his motives are and how he believes the world would work. I'm not saying it isn't possible. But with his plan. It wouldn't work. There's too many holes and contingencies. I know it sounds like I'm being vague or repeating myself but that's only because I want you to understand the faults your self rather than approach this as a argument or debate as I'm not up for it.
I will discuss it with you if you do come to the same conclusions. If you don't then I have nothing to say to you other than state my opinion and move on. If you didn't think of the holes while typing the original post then I doubt you'd even reach that point.
Pretty sure Sasuke accounted for whatever holes you're imagining but haven't explained. Matter fact he didn't even explain everything to Naruto the first time - chapter 694. In chapter 696 Naruto asked what would happen once he dies, & Sasuke countered with ease. Saying how with his abilities he had the capability to always be around to watch over the world. Even if there are holes, Sasuke will spot them and adjust. Notice how he kept what The Sage & Black Zetsu had in mind (which Naruto didn't) and didn't mention it at that time despite already planning to investigate.
There is no need to be rude.
I am talking about your biased first post which is the central idea for this thread and you are wrong.
Sasuke Revolution was all about Older brother issues and cutting down the past (personally and Shinobi world wise). The whole plan was more emotional than logic. If you can't understand this then go read chapter 694 again because your boy clearly says that "connections make life painful". We are talking about an Uchiha, crazy as they come, acting all tough saying that he could handle all the hate...
God damn, Sasuke developed tyrant tendencies because of his trauma from having his parents killed. You as a fan can thank good old Naruto for some on-site therapy.
It was more logical than emotional. Again, it was based on the history of the Shinobi world. I know that you don't see this with Naruto, but Shinobi are infact supposed to sever their emotions so they can get the job done. This was highlighted in the first major arc. That is what Sasuke wanted to do in order to execute his plan efficiently.
Naruto's plan of let's all be buddies was based on emotion. Although i doubt you have a problem with that. So i will ask you the same question i did with another Naruto supporter.
And what was Naruto's plan? "Let's just hope everyone continues to get along after the war because they decided to team for the first time in history for a couple days only because they had a common enemy that they couldn't defeat alone" ? What if they seperated and began to oppose each other as they always had beforehand? What was Naruto's plan to handle this?
Naruto presented no solution. Because he either didn't have one, and or naively believed 100 percent that they would stay united after the war.
If you know it wasn't articulated well, why do you believe it would be successful? I can understand you wanting it to be successful due to the past, but as it stands the plan is terrible. It's about the same as Naruto's pursuit for absolute peace. If anything, Madara and Obito's plan were more sound than that. Except they didn't account for contingencies such as Zetsu using everyone to revive Kaguya. And their plan required decades of planning. Whereas as 17 year old only goals were to make everyone hate him, destroy the bijuu, and kill the kages. Believing that would cease fighting or focus efforts towards him and cease fighting amongst themselves.
It's funny that Sasuke realized how bad his ideals and plan were and yet threads like these still come about.
Naruto's actions and words convinced Sasuke into not trying to handle everything on his own, and instead work with his allies. Naruto proved himself to be a reliable ally who he could bear the responsibilities of maintaining peace with. I actually think a combination of Naruto and Sasuke's plan would probably be the best. I might make a thread on it.
Anyway, Sasuke never said anything like, "My plan definitely wouldn't have worked". And why would he? When part of it was based on an already proven successful method (common enemy) & eliminating sources that caused conflict (Bijuu, seperated villages). All he would have to do is make sure they maintain peace amongst themselves and deal with smaller threats like criminals acting on their own accord.
looks like you didn't read 1 word the raikage and even tsuchikage said on the matter
I did. When facing Madara they formed a bond and decided to continue to work together after the war. This further displays how a common enemy united them. If it wasn't for Madara/the Akatsuki they wouldn't have united to begin with, and cooperating together against this same enemy forged bonds between them that made them want to continue their cooperation after the war.
Like i said, what would Naruto have done had they eventually went back to their old ways? Doesn't matter right? After all the story had a few chapters left and we know things would end on good terms cause this is that type of story. This is why us readers can easily gloss over Naruto's shortcomings. I bet you never even thought about what Naruto would do until i mentioned it.
