your theory fails because the eyes are not replaced, it's a seal, the eyes of itachi are sealed on top of sasuke's eyes. so sasuke still got his eyes, but now is "fusion" of sasuke and itachi's eyes.

My Theory ~ Sasuke's EMS is not EMS​

From what I know so far, How Sasuke got his EMS is not really the same as how Madara got his when he took Izuna's eyes. As the story goes, Madara was blind and he either stole or was given his brother's HEALTHY eyes, which gave him a new permanent source of light.

In Sasuke's case, he was near blind and he took Itachi's BLIND eyes as replacement. I'm pretty sure Itachi was blind during the final moments of his fight with Sasuke's because if you remember, when Orochimaru came out of Sasuke, Itachi sensed his chakra rather than simply seeing that it was Orochimaru. So what I'm saying is, Sasuke has replaced his eyes with one that's in a worser condition than his own. Also, this wasn't a case of just plucking Itachi's eyes out. Madara had possession of Itachi's eyes awhile before it was given to Sasuke and whose to say that he hasn't tampered with them before giving it to Sasuke.


One thing is clear though. There's no way Madara will give Sasuke such power unless;
A) He knows how to quickly cancel it out if Sasuke became a problem.
B) It's not really Itachi's eyes that Sasuke has got.

Either way, Madara knows Sasuke is not like Kisame or Zetsu, his loyal surbodinate. He knows that Sasuke can just as easily TRY and kill him than help him so why give him such power?

Sasuke's hasn't got EMS in the sense of Madara having once had it. It could be a power that actually harms him and makes him more easily controlled to Madara and Itachi being the forward thinker that he was, knew Madara would want Sauke to take his diseased eyes for that purpose, So that the Gift Itachi had given Naruto was the power to stop and remove that control over Sasuke which could make sasuke completely blind? Which is why Itachi hoped Naruto wouldn't have to use it.

He may also have implanted the Rinnegan onto Sasuke's other eye, so while he had control over Sasuke he also synced him with Gedo Mazo as we know Madara needed him for that role. What do you guys think?

good theorie but the rinnegan is impossible, madara went out for the rinnegan after he transplanted itachi's eyes in sasuke.

And about the Blind MS thing, i think it doesn't matter because blind + blind is like negative + negative which makes it like Positive or something..

anyways itachi planned that battle for sasuke to awaken his MS, smart enough to plan with knowing he would fight naruto and attack konoha so he placed a triumph card in naruto. So im pretty sure he would've known sasuke wouldn't take his eyes instantly but would do later on ( why else would he want to attack konoha and why would itachi plant a gift into naruto ? )
Basicly it's just simple: itachi knew all along about what would happen and predicted every step of sasuke, and of sasuke having EMS by taking itachi's blind eye doesn't change anything it will be an EMS with full power just like madara once ''had''.

One thing that I didnt notice before is the when Itachi is shown late in the fight, his eyes are white and dont show his MS, which could support your theory. However, when orochimaru emerges from the hydra, Itachi says, "so, you finally show yourself" which makes me think he could see.

I'm not trying to make a point or anything, just writing what I saw when I went back and read the chapter.

sasuke will have the ems and but the way madara truly beleives that sasuke is the real deal. itachi eyes being exosted has nothing to do with ems its like how madara was blind even worser than itachi but he still got ems . .. and another thing itachi told sasuke that once u awaken ems its the half of the way does it mean you will awaken rinnegan after ems like on the sharingan statue there is a rinnegan on the top and maybe it explain why madara is reclaiming that nagato s rinnegan belongs to him.
