Yeah, the village is mainly to blame. The whole police thing by tobirama was indeed well intentioned-but it was a horrific plan. What people need to realise is the uchihas originally disagreed with madara completely, and even abandoned him and his ideals.(which is what lead to madara defecting in the first place) and they WERE the co founders of the village(whether they like it or not) All the shitty police thing that tobirama did was make the uchihas realise that madara was indeed right(and increased the uchihas hatred.)

Plus, assuming the entire clan was responsible for kurama's attack was shocking-and goes against the whole innocent until proven guilty philosophy. The coup was akin to the American revolutionaries, and given how corrupt Danzo and the elders were, it was justified(providing they were only going to overthrow the government.) Plus, Danzo was selfish and only wanted the clan dead for his own selfish reasons(he even did dealings with tobi...) So overall,Danzo is mainly to blame for this whole mess in the first place, and he deserved to die a brutal death by Sasuke's hands.

Tobirama (the one who appointed them Police force and placed them outside of the village) explained that he did all this for the sake of the village and he put the uchiha into good use. The uchiha were mistreated in a way but a coup is not what they should of done. Point is, they were the first to start plotting behind the village's back.

The Uchiha clan had every right to the coup - they had been cornered for 50 plus long years. Tobirama made a complete mockery of the Democratic set up to make sure that just in case a voting occurred, the Uchiha Clan members still had a chance in the political policy. So they shouldn't be elected ... he turned the democratic approach to election into a Militia setup, abolishing all merits of equal share in power.

Given these circumstances, the coup was the best option. As rightfully, after Senju, the Village belongs to Uchiha.

There wasn't really much stopping Danzo from killing Sasuke between the ages of 6 and 15 except for Itachi playing the bully, and even then he disregarded that in Early Part II anyway.

your reasoning makes no sense. the HOKAGE has control over where they are and the hokage has to make an effort to fix and problems within the village and like you just said why would they even try, if there only solution was to get everybody killed instead of actually trying to fix the problem then the blame falls more on them. the 3rd hokage wanted to fix it but did the uchiha ever ask for help or come to the 3rd with a solution?

Actually, danzo had more control over the village because huruzen was a fool.

Shisui had the situation under control until Danzo felt butt hurt that his plans for killing the Uchiha wouldn't come to fruition. Danzo drew first blood by attacking an Uchiha, which so happen to be the son of his former comrade. Sasuke isn't at fault here. Since the very beginning the Senju manipulated the Uchiha.

I blame Madara. If he wouldve been a little more unselfish and gave more time to adjust after the war then the uchiha wouldve been ok. Instead he made himself out to be a villain when he was the most important symbol for peace in his clan. Everything was bound to fall apart after that. Some of the blame should also go to the hokage. Their mishandling and distrust of the uchiha made matters worse.

How well does it fit on Tobirama's segregationist policies and the Elders - Danzo and Hizuren included - vehemence to adhere.

Danzo felt butthurt that Shisui would use KotoAmatsukami on Danzo himself to get his way.

If he did, then Shisui would become Danzo 2.0 and no one would be really complaining because the Uchiha took over.

I actually agree with this to an extent. Konoha betrayed the Uchiha, they shunned them, though the leaf and it's peace was is where it is because of the uchiha they chose to extinct them, even though the civil war was started because the uchiha felt like they were Loosing their freedom and what was deserved to them. None of this would have been an issue if people didn't feel vengeful and untrustworthy towards the Uchiha.

So yeah in a sense Konoha betrayed Itachi, even if he helps stop the war and bring peace. People will treat him with the vengeance they did with Naruto. Konoha ruined sasukes life, if they keep that vengeance, the cycle of revenge will never stop

I agree with you on most of this. The third knew about the coup and as a leader of the village had a duty to protect it but also as a leader, he has the responsibility of looking for the most diplomatic solution. He simply shouldve arranged to meet with fugaku and have a talk and understamding with him, if and only if, fugaku was still hostile after the meeting then he shouldve taken the measures he did. All that being said, the coup had nothing to do with sasuke and I highly doubt every single uchiha was part of it, there mustve been children sasukes age or you ger that were slaughtered simply because they belonged to the family they did. What konoha did was nothing but cold murder. People seem to think that sasuke was the only kid in the uchiha at the time, ehich common sense says simply isnt true. Therefore konoha slayed innocents to save thier own skin and didnt even try to pursue a diplomatic solution. This is why they kept the truth from the villagers. People can say all they want but it was simply murder or genocide. So yes, konoha betrayed him when he was just a boy. And to everyone who says that danzo or hiruzen did, not konoha, keep in mind one was an elder or the village, the other a hokage, they speak and represent the village, their actions are the actions of the village.
