I believe Kabuto just stopped, he never countered, just started praising it. Anyway, all those other guys fought Sasuke when he could only cast Amaterasu through his left eye, now....Sasuke has an entire Susanoo that wields Amaterasu as a weapon!

Also Kabuto countered it using shed skin the same as Sasuke did. I'm not trying to say it isn't powerful but it isn't as strong as people will lead you to believe. I'll also add that Bee countered it with a simple substitution jutsu.

It's true, Amaterasu is hyped. Let me tell you something Gatsuuga. Let's if Raikage wasn't saved by Gaara. Do you think that he would of survived the Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi? A jutsus that uses Amaterasu but has spikes to simply bisect an enemy. Do you think that a Susanoo Arrow with Amaterasu is a joke? Do you think that Blaze Release: Magatama where it can hit multiple targets is a joke? Sasuke has many variants and besides Kishimoto didn't make Amaterasu burn through objects fast, because then it would be too OP. Besides didn't you see what Itachi did to Nagato? His body was burning completely and if he didn't have Shinra Tensei he would have been fried chicken. Out of that list that you mentioned:

Raikage did avoid Amaterasu, but he expected to dodge it. He had knowledge of the techique. Nagato has Shinra Tensei which can push the flames away. He is the easiest one that can counter this technique. Gaara did no such thing. He used the flames from his Blaze Release to attack Gaara. Jiraiya used a scroll that doesn't mean he avoided Amaterasu. Kankuro didn't dodge the technique, he just simply removed the armor from the injured samurais. Tobi almost got killed by Amaterasu, he just survived thanks to his S/T techniques. Kabuto dodged Amaterasu? He dodged the arrow that's for sure, but he didn't avoid Amaterasu. Sasuke shot Amaterasu to prevent Kabuto from getting close to them.

If Gaara hadn't intervened Raikage would have killed Sasuke on the spot whilst the raikage would have died later from amaterasu. I'm not trying to say that amaterasu isn't strong - but it has flaws just like every other jutsu, yet people never consider these when hyping it.

For the people I listed I said they countered it. Sure amaterasu is fast (faster then blaze release) but that means nothing if people have time to counter it since it burns slowly (at least Sasuke's version compared to Itachi's). Also Kabuto got hit - but shed skin.

To me there isn't really a difference between amaterasu and blaze release - just two different ways to get it on the opponent. Blaze release isn't even a KKG just a fancy name Sasuke gave his move. Anyway if people have the time to deal with it once it is on them, it is way less affective.

I didn't....Kabuto said it. Weapon......attack....technique.....they are all meant to kill or injure.....what's the difference? And yes, Sasukes Susanoo uses Amaterasu just like a weapon, it has three variations of it.

People so far have only countered Amaterasu when Sasuke was using it out of his left eye...not an entire Susanoo!

Also if Amaterasu was a 1 hit kill the moment Sasuke looks at someone than why didn't he just look at the Raikage and burn him to death? The answer, it's not very effective against fast opponents. To sum it up, Naruto is faster than Raikage and has extremely powerful ranged attacks such as tailed beast bomb and rasen-shurikans so even if Sasuke covers himself in amaterasu unlike the Raikage who had to sacrifice his arm to hit Sasuke.

Your right. People don't consider weaknesses in that jutsu, but Amaterasu can't be countered by many ninja that's the honest truth. In Sasuke's case, yes Blaze Release it's a fancy but a better variation of defense than just a normal Amaterasu attack. Sasuke has many ways to manipulate Amaterasu, not just shooting it from his eyeballs. He is a formidable foe to defeat in battle.

Sasuke would of died if not absorbing Orochimaru with the shedding technique used against Itachi, Bee was going to die but Sasuke cut the tentacle, Raikage was going to die if not for Gaara interrupting, Samurais were going to die thanks to Amaterasu, Danzo died because of Amaterasu he only revived thanks to Izanagi, and if the fight was serious Kabuto would have died in some way as well.
