Amaterasu: The flames are capable of burning through most anything in their path, even smothering regular fire techniques with ease. Amaterasu is said to never stop burning; even when whatever is caught by the Amaterasu is completely reduced to ash or destroyed, it can still continue burning for seven days and seven nights.
The jet-black flames of the Amaterasu, said to be the fires from hell that are as hot as the sun, ignite at the focus of the user's vision.
Amaterasu is the highest level Fire Release technique, and according to Zetsu, the strongest ninjutsu of Itachi's eyes. It is said to represent the "Material World and Light" (物質界と光, Busshitsukai to Hikari), the antipode to Tsukuyomi, a genjutsu of similar power and a fellow Mangekyō Sharingan dōjutsu.

Let me ask you all a question......why do you think Sasuke is so damn weak compared to Naruto?
Because if you think Sasuke is weak, then you also think Amaterasu is weak.....right?
Because just as Sasuke tamed lighting and named it Kirin, and has several other ways to use it as well; with his Susanoo, Sasuke has completely tamed Amaterasu and has several ways to burn anything and everything!

That is utter nonsense! Sasuke's mastery of Amaterasu is his greatest weapon! Because Amaterasu is the greatest weapon in the history of the ninja world!
