Oh Shunsui-sama! You frighten me!Wandering in from behind, his presence unknown all until his visual arrival was made to Kisuke Urahara from his peripheral vision,the newly assigned Head Captain of the 13 Court Guard Squads was Shunsui Kyoraku, who's right eye was covered by an eye patch made by a wound caused some time ago. He continued walking side by side with Urahara, his gaze lingering in the air above and his casual yet lazy smile as per usual painted across his lips while his heori and pink flowered kimono draped over his heori and rested on his shoulders.
"Yeah, you could say that.. But the peace won't last long. This is just the calm before the storm, as they say..."
Kisuke pulls out a lollipop and starts licking.

Shunsui simply continued to stare aimlessly into the sky above, slowly raising his left hand as he gripped the rim of his hat, slightly tilting it up, further revealing more 
of his facial outline, built of his usual amount of facial hair and signs of slightly more aging over the last hundred years.
He smirked slightly, slowly lowering his gaze from the sky above as he slowly tilted his straw-built hat forward once again as he sighed softly.
"In war, everyone has a chance.. As long as one lives, then you always have a fighting chance.. Now if you were to ask what the odds were of us winning, well now that I can't really say for sure.." Shunsui spoke with that of his regular calm and collected toned voice, rubbing his chin slowly as he pondered the elements of the war for a moment in his head.
"If you think about it, we are outnumbered easily five to one.. Us being one.. Since the Quincy returned and attacked us the first time around, we lost a major portion of our strongest, old man-Yama included.. And even though we fought off the Quincy and took some of their numbers as well, evening out the battle for a time, they were simply too resourceful and too thorough on their plans that they've long since recovered their members, thanks to their new Patriarch.. As for the Arrancar forces, well that is as it always was, with the exception that their numbers are also relatively low, but still higher than ours.." Shunsui rambled on in his half-mumbled tone of voice now, returning to his silent state for a time, indicating that he was probably pondering some more.
"All I can say though is no matter how high the odds are stacked against us, as long as I draw breath, Soul Society hasn't lost this war yet.."

General Cross, Launching Across SS, Knowing war is brewing, He quickly spots out Urahara, and Shinsui, He stops and walk towards both of them knowing something of the war, He then walks up to them with his pet on his head, and proceeds to talk in a serious manner.....

Bankai Special Ability: Another one of the user's blades disappears forming an orb which holds up to a mile radius. The user can trade places with anything inside of this orb, giving him total control of everything inside of the orb. The user's Strength and reiatsu increase also with this
