Raikage (super raikage mode lol) vs Jiraiya (sage Mode) who would win?

Im going with A because no one can logically give a reason to why Jman would win.

Im a fan of Jiraiya also but people need to stop picking on favs.
Thats like me saying lee could beat Naruto(im not saying the gap is as big as between him and naruto as J and A)

This is a tough one, personally I would give it to Jiraiya if he started in Sage mode or if they were inside a building so that he could turn the walls into a frog's stomach that never lets people out. Only Amaterasu was able to ever burn through that and that is only because it never stops burning until whatever it touches is gone.

If he starts in Sage mode than he takes less damage from attacks and has more powerful taijutsu than normal. Also he has sealing techniques, and a bunch of awesome summons. A has shown no proclivity with ninjutsu other than lightning armor so I don't know how he would beat those summons or that frog genjutsu. And A's raiton armor does increase defense but I don't think it would be able to stand against a reat ball rasengan. Especially if Sasuke's chidori was able to pierce it.

So unless A has some secret talent for dispelling frog genjutsu and a way to deal with all of those summons then he is in for a tough battle.

Also, I think somebody somewhere claimed the Raikage was more powerful than Nagato and the Six Paths of Pain? Seriously? Nagato could control life, and destroy entire hidden villages.

As for Raikages ninjutsu, unless he can learn Chidori or Rasengan or other Ninjutsu that require no hand seals, then he is pretty much limited to Raiton armor.

As for the fight, Jiraiya can instantly form a great ball Rasengan in sage mode. I'm not sure what kind of control Raikage has whilst traveling at ridiculously fast speeds, but I'm going to assume making sharp turns is out of the question. Theoretically, Jiraiya could simply form a great ball Rasengan and just hold it in the direction the Raikage is approaching from (which Jiraiya would be able to detect) especially if he had a barrier up.

And Jiraiya is starting in SM, are we to assume he is starting with ma and pa? If so, Raikage will definitely have his hands full.

In my honest opinion, this fight would be very difficult to determine a clear winner. Both would have their hands full, that's for sure.

That's just me trying to undermine the whole "Raikage is so silly fast and can smash anything instantly" theory.

Genjutsu works on him, Tsukuyomi didn't work because you have to have eye contact and Sasuke couldn't even see A.
If the toads were to activate their sound genjutsu then A would be caught and Jiraiya would win. Jiraiya would have to create some sort of defense first. You remember that barrier he put up in the fight against pain? Or he could go into a toad's stomach like that jutsu he tried to use on Itachi and Kisame. All he would have to do is wait until the frogs got ready to use that genjutsu and then stroll out and use it. Once he did Raikage would be stuck motionless, easily letting Jiraiya use any jutsu to put him out of commission.

Also for the people saying it would take too long, well the thread is Jiraiya (sage mode) vs. Raikage (super mode) so yes they are already in their respective modes.

the frog genjutsu is nothing, because when sasuke used sharingan against A, a said 'a weak sharingan like that isnt enough to kill me' - then sasuke had to resort to susan'oo - and we all know sasukes sharingan tops the frog genjutsu.

j-man sage mode isnt complete
it takes too long to activate
j-man is too slow so frog kumite wont be able to get A

naruto just managed to dodge A's top speed punch
so if he did it against j-man it would most probably be over in one punch.

A's lightning Armour increases defense aswell. sasukes chidori was weakened, if a didnt have lightning Armour it would have put a big hole clean through him, so he can probably withstand a rasengan.

what possible defense do pain´s body have against A? only deva path and he has 5 seconds interval between using it again, A would kill him 4 times in that interval

ok, if A would know pain´s secret he would beat him too, it would take him some time as i believe that deva path would give him small problems, but with punch that can happen in less than 1 sec, pain has no chance

if you say that your saying that naruto is stronger than A before he had kyuubi mode and was super fast.

naruto defeated two of the peins by punching it and the the other by landing/jumping onto it, and naruto's power is nowhere near the raikage, so if he did that, imagine what A could do to it.

and as for the fight,

if j-man did that how long would it take for him to move that rasengan's direction in his hand ? because A can instantly change direction, he can appear behind him, to the side ect.
