I was one of the first people to propose this idea out of my brain, let's see will it becomes true or not, cause this definitely ain't the end, it's ****ing too easy, not to mention that "Happily ever After" pun by Naruto...Kishimoto is plotting some very crazy twist. And part 3 will be damn awesome if I'm correct.

No, he isn't. There is no reason hint etc. to support that theory at all.

The two reasons people think that is

1) They don't want the manga to end

2) Hagoromo has pronounced eyesockets and wrinkles that supposedly make him look "evil"
Well you say that there isn't but did you read any of the provided theories to listen to the counter- arguments?

IMO, hagoromo is good.

If he really wanted to bring himself alive through some means then he would have had wrote the 'WAY' to resurrect him clearly on the Uchiha Tablet. But he didn't. Instead, the one who did was Black Zetsu to resurrect Kaguya. Also BZ said that Hagoromo wrote too many BS stuff on the tablet. The Tablet was the main source for Hagoromo to return and rule over the world but he didn't. He didn't even knew that BZ existed.

The powers which was given to Naruto and Sasuke was actually Chibaku Tensei, a rinnegan technique. And ONLY Hagoromo had the rinengan. Hamura didn't. So I would say that Hamura only assisted Hagoromo in weakening Kaguya/Juubi so that they could seal her. Hamura had Byakugan and hence could have been very helpful against Kaguya's Byakugan.
All this time, Kaguya compared her previous defeat with the current because previously she was defeated by her two sons and now she got defeated by her grandchildren's transmigrants. She only compared them facially and not with respect to the powers they had.

If he wanted to resurrect himself he would have not made Ashura his successor, would not have divided the Bijuus. He believed in unity not in Individuality.

A respectul opinion with goo arguments. However as far as Hagoromo goes, what I proposed in my theory is that he became corrupted after Kaguya's death, I do not necessarily suggest he'll try to take over, though I think it's very likely, but rather that we will learn about his dark past which he had hidden so well.

I could SEE it happening. He always looks like he has some plot behind his requests. I wouldn't like seeing him be the final villain. But I could see that he may have wanted Kaguya out of the way to get something else accomplished, which god knows what that could be. Because I doubt Kaguya could have been beaten 1 v 1 by anyone including him...so that's about the only way I could see an evil scenario being played out.

The problem with that is, is that everyone seemed to have such fond memories of him and I don't think they'll make someone with such a great background become evil.

I think the plot will unfold with a sasuke vs naruto final bout. Maybe some last dying words to Hashi from Madara...That's about it. I think Kishi is planning the end game.
And if that's the case he better tie up the series very, very well.

I've always believed that Kurama had a special link to the Sage.
Kurama is the only bijuu that demonstrated the ability to share his chakra at will, which seems to mimic Hagoromo's intended use of chakra: to bring people together and create understanding.
Kurama also senses evil intent. It's clearly shown that Kurama has respect, even fondness, for Hagoromo.
It would not make sense for Hagoromo to be evil.

He's the Sage of Six Path that the Tailed Beasts respects and love as if he were their own father, and went out of his way to teach Ninshuu and connecting chakra to one another in his attempt for global peace.

Highly, highly, highly doubtful he would be evil.
Doesn't mean he's not evil the tailed beast didn't know too much about him.

Q: Is it a good Plot Twist ?

A: Yes, the effects of this plot twist will be huge and can spice up the story.

Q: Does it have Plot Potential ?

A: No, it doesn't have much potential as it will be pretty much the Kaguya Fiasco all over again. Not to mention; Hagoromo doesn't have the evil feel around him.

So, I think it should not happen; but let's see.

As for your second question, you're wrong. If Hagoromo indeed becomes the final villain you should take into consideration that he's going to talk about Kaguya's background something that she herself hasn't done. In that way, he will show probably the complexity of her character and would also show the darker side of his personality.

Well, by that point; she would be sealed, so showcasing her darker personality through Hagoromo would be moot. It would have been better if Kishi had done it by broken-up flashbacks from Kaguya as she slowly regains her memories. A character's darker personality should be shown by that character only; otherwise the effect diminishes.
