I got bored of it after the first gym. Definitely not the best pokemon game.

Competitively it's definitely the best pokemon game, however if you're not looking to play lvl 100 sets its kind of bad. ;P

I actually need someones opinion on a baton pass pokemon. Please if you don't know what you're talking about just don't reply to this.

Well I'm looking for a good place to start a team after not playing pokemon for basically 3 years now. I figure getting a baton passer would be a really good start. Musharna is decent in hp/sp.d/and def all around. Using Barrier and Calm Mind to survive until I can get sufficient SP.A allowing me to Baton Pass the Sp.A to my Sweeper.

I'm honestly not sure if I want to keep the EVs the way I have set here, nor do I know if i want barrier either I'm not 100% familiar with the sorts of pokemon I'd go up against. So others opinions would be good. If not barrier I'd go for either Lightscreen, Safegaurd, or Reflect.

Input on anything and everything is welcome. Be harsh. Tymv! :]

I miss the old games... my favourite pokemon game I have to say was probably.. Pokemon Yellow even though I only got to play it a little while. I loved Pikachu following me.

Anyway.. Pokemon White.. not even started but it's going to take a while to learn all the names of the Pokemon, so far Snivy, Oshawott (Japanese name is it or not?) is all I know.

Honestly my favorite game out of all of them is probably HG/SS just because I quit playing for a while after gold/silver. Its got elements of Red/Blue Gold/Silver and Yellow all in one. :]

I think all the upgrades that they did to the gameplay were good (YOU CAN REUSE TMS HURRAY) and I like the graphics overhaul. I miss having my Pokemon follow me around T-T
The storyline sucks though, Team Plasma suck as villains so far.

I'm currently on the second gym (yes I'm noobish for being so slow, sue me) and all my Pokemon are level 20.

Tsukiko I'm liking the game more and more the longer I play it tbh. Storyline really isn't great I fuggin' love N though. ^__^ Regardless there is a lot they did to improve the game, not only for the casual scene but the competitive scene as well. :'D I was really referring to the stroyline being not as good as it could be, but I really don't play pokemon for storyline. I play it for nostalgia and for fun. :']

i was okay with it. i like it too. i got black sunday, and beat it tuesday. right now im on a legends hunt...and the one who's giving me the most trouble is ofc, the roaming legendary, tornadus. i got it down to red, and paralyzed, but silly me i used my master ball on reshiram (i only had like 1-2 ultras when i got there anyways...e4 were a pain xd) so yeah, until i can transfer over another master or get one off of the gts, tornadus shall elude me probably forevermore xd

Lol, Yeah i got white it's pretty good. Beat it already. Sick ending imo. Ohh and Akiza i used my Master ball on Zekrom and now i'm also on the Legend hunt too and i just caught Tornadus with a quick ball. Lol i throw quick balls at everything so yeah, infact i'm playing it right now and i just caught Volconara with a quick ball.

I agree with you about the not playing for the story...I play cause it's one of the few games I'm not terrible at xD
I wish I felt the nostalgia factor that everyone else feels, but the only "nostalgic" games I've played are Yellow and Red because my friend lent me her Gameboy and games. I suppose I just don't feel the connection DX

The creators are just running out of good ideas, and making some BS pokemon. What happened to the idea of basing all pokemon not just the starters off of real world animals?

The games have changed quite a bit from what they were in red and blue. You actually have to look into the game to really realize this though.

Not sure if you've looked into this but there are pokemon that can play different roles based off of its nature, and the way you train it.

I could go really into depth about this but it'd just be easier if you looked into EV/IV training. :]

Lol, well give me your opinion on him once you've beat the game? : D If you're playing pokemon competitively it's really hard not to be terrible at the game. x__x Its 100% mind games and stylistic play, and thats what I enjoy about it. : DDD

As far as the nostalgia, it comes from playing the older pokemon games as a kid. ^^; I still have the same sort of enjoyment of playing pokemon now as I did then and thats kind of awesome, least I think so. I still hate caves with a passion. .___.;

Haven't played it yet, getting it as soon as I get the bills paid (the earliest would be this Tuesday). So far my top three favorite games are Platinum, LeafGreen, and either Ruby or HeartGold.
