I respect your argument, I just disagree with it.

MLK is a remarkable man, but I don't believe he will be remembered in a 1000 or more years after countless wars and new societies.

A man like him existed in almost every society before. When those societies fell, those men were forgotten or at least became not as well known.


Names like Ceasar, Da Vinci, Mozart, Jesus, etc. Will roll off people's tongues forever.

Da Vinci is considered to be the greatest artist of all time. Art is prominent in all of history in every society.

Jesus is the key figure in religion. His name alone created what society is today, leading Europe to the Renaissance which then brought forth colonization and connection with the rest of the world , etc.


Mozart is considered to be the greatest musician in the world. Classical music is known throughout the world and can be argued that just about everybody in Europe, U.S. and Asia know his name and heard some of his songs.


Greece is considered to this day the classical society. Most people grow up on stories of Hercules and greek mythology. Much of the renaissance was influenced by greek works of art. Greek culture will always be a part of society.

Fighting for equality in society is a noble thing, but it's not something that people will remember after America and all other societies pave way to new civilization.
