I doubt Obito was scared of Itachi, his space-time tech trumps almost anything. I'm just surprised that Itachi didn't realize he would only advance Obito's plans by giving Sasuke the EMS. I think Obito just wanted Itachi in order to advance Sasuke's powers, he was obviously willing to delay his plans for that.

gedo was shown to use jutsu like the human path dragon which can remove souls in instant. one roar is enough to stutter choji and his father while using their giant mode thingy (too lazy to check the name of this jutsu). gedo dwarfs everyone, itachi will look like an ant, its arms had far greater reach than itachi's totsuka.


one last thing,do you think tobi will not protect the gedo if he saw the totsuka blade? tobi could easily warp it out of this world once he saw that.

Well, I'm not basing my story based on plot, I was basing it on the descriptions we were given. Totsuka blade is said to be able to cut anything. And anything it cuts, it seals. Based on that knowledge, the blade is able to seal away the gedo. Your questioning of it is hypothetical and plot based. I am using reason.

For Tobi to warp it out, he has to become tangible. All that is necessary for Itachi to do is to simultaneously attack Tobi and use the Totsuka blade on the gedo.

The gedo can't be able to just drain souls constantly or whenever it wants, or else thats what would have happened to the shinobi army. My theory actually is that the gedo cannot do this unless being controlled directly by the rinnegan. I think it is just a rinnegan user using the technique through the gedo while he is pierced with the chakra receivers, just like a path of pain. And I don't think Tobi knows how to/can use the rinnegan fully yet. He hasn't used a single move thus far with it, so that's a valid assumption.

As for the shockwave, Itachi can dissapate into crows to avoid physical damage. And again, pysical attacks won't work. If the gedo gets too close he will be in a totsuka blade range, especially if he is coming towards itachi. There is nothing to say that a certain part of the body must be cut for the sealing to work, so slicing the gedo's arm should be enough.

Itachi was highly intelligent and the only man alive at that moment who was capable of betraying him and destroy everything he had planned so far.
It would have been stupid of Obito not to be concerned about him.

yeah what you said is true but being concerned doesn't mean Obito was flat out scared as people claim.

Both had great respect for the other, though itachi's 'respect' stemmed from the fact that, like many he thought obito was madara.
