Obito respected Itachi more than any other shinobi?

The only person Obito respected and feared was Kabuto and that was only because of their interests seemed to parallel. That and Kabuto had him with the coffin.

Itachi and Obito's relationship wasn't based on fear it was based on compromise. Both had something to lose at the time. Just because Obito isn't stupid enough to fight someone who wants to be killed by their kid brother doesn't mean he was afraid.

Itachi was a roadblock that ended up resolving itself.

if he respects itachi how come he shatted on itachi's legacy as soon as he was dead and basically laughed at how itachi couldnt in the end kill him?
he was gloating to sasuke "see see? your bro's failsafe failed haha".
he acted respectful to sasuke about itachi to manipulate him.
when he talked with zetsu he said itachi was an annoyance and a pain to even look at.
some respect.

Yeah he though Obito was Madara and thats why Obito is alive right now. Why even bother and say im the great Madara and everybody fear me cuz of this, why?

The fact that Itachi thought Obito was Madara isn't the reason he's alive.Obito is alive because Madara saved him.Itachi probably didn't even know Obito...Because the entire ninja universe was fooled by Obito.

no he didnt. for the longest time i bet itachi just thought obito was a random pissed off masked akatsuki. as did most of obitos acquaintances. being madara has nohting to do with it since if itachi is really heroic he wouldnt care about names and hype. hed defend whats important.

People will disagree but lets look at the facts:

1) Obito didn't care for Madara and turned on him
2) Obito didn't care for Minato and fought him
3) Obito didn't care for Kakashi and they were team-mates
4) Obito didn't care from Akatsuki and used them
5) Obito didn't care for Sasuke


Now if we look at the history between him and Itachi

Itachi was the only shinobi Obito truly was cautious of and respected enough to follow his wishes until after he died. I know people will say Obito was being nice but lets face it... he turned on Madara.

Thoughts?

Cause Itachi was obito's eye sore, and also obito feared itachi.........
