Novel talks about Boruto's Rasengan

Sasuke understand the jutsu so much better than him that I wonder if sasuke can make rasengan better than him

Like I said, Sasuke was the only one who knew he applied an elemental nature to it, Boruto did it unconsciously because he didn't know he had an elemental nature.

Dunno how it makes him lame, it's reminiscent to feeling Sarada had (in example) after she unleashed her power against the Shin clones, and she was taken aback by her raw power and strength.

This time Boruto doesn't know he can apply an elemental to his Rasengan without knowing. I think it's actually pretty badass, and kind of scary. The dude makes a Rasengan and his elemental nature just latches itself onto his chakra, without him even training for it!

I don't think there is a way for someone to understand something they never knew they had the ability to do. It's sort of like activating the Sharingan/Byakugan (For Sarada/Himaawri), it just happens. If one is not aware, how can they perceive it?

Well the thing is, Naruto knew what he was doing, he couldn't explain it.

Boruto didn't know he was doing anything special at all, which gives the reason for no explanation. Sasuke tells him during the first time he shows it, though.

I'm not entirely sure what category the Rasengan is classified in since it vanishes/disappears, but Momoshiki couldn't see it despite have the Rinnegan on

I thought it was like kamui rasengan which is extremely hard to beat, but now it appears its not difficult to dodge(of course with intel, no first timer)

Well Sasuke is a really experienced shinobi, I'm sure he was able to catch what Boruto was doing before he even realized. Sasuke is a Genius too, and he's incredibly intelligent. The amount of time he had practicing his techniques, and learning new shinobi-related things, is more than Boruto's life time :lol

I don't think anyone but Sasuke/Naruto, and maybe a few other talented shinobi (or sensors/Dojutsu users) could tell what Boruto was doing when he was making the Rasengan from first glance.

I hope unlike his father, Boruto actually learns wind related Ninjutsu techniques.

Right, add that with it being small. It can be useful as a surprise, or with clones while stalling the opponent, but it's not really that useful with the person knows it's coming. They can just move out of the way.

Thankfully he learned to increase the size of his Rasengan, that was my biggest qualm with it being so weak looking XD
