As far as I know, no training is required for it, which is mainly why people do "Genin Spars". Spars where only free form tai and academy techs are allowed.
Its bascially just any basic taijutsu moves (punches, kicks, etc.) that you use in battle. It usually works by the first person stating they punched so-and-so in the face, then the second person stating, I deflected your punch with my forearm, and kick you in chest. Etc. Free form is like a turn-by-turn physical battle.
Well free form taijutsu as far as i kbow no training is needed since it is basically regular punches, kicks, headbuts, etc. It mainly is used by people who dont know any jutsu but still wanna have fun. It uses zero chakra so the battle could last forever
Taijutsu mainly refers to "body techniques" or "hand-to-hand combat". Any techniques involving the natural human abilities. Taijutsu is executed by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training. Because chakra does not need to be produced, taijutsu can typically be performed much faster than ninjutsu or genjutsu techniques.
Basic taijutsu doesn't require much training it depends on the individual. Some guidance and teachings can also help in improving the skills.
