The current generation as a whole is better/more powerful than any of the previous generations which includes kakashi's/minato's/Sannin's/Hurizen/Hashirama's.

Do you know what " prodigy " means? If you do than you wouldn't be saying sasuke isn't one. He is definitely a prodigy, whether he is the last uchiha living or not. His potential along with Obito, Itachi, Madara, Shi Sui, Izuna excelled the rest of the clan over the years, that's only 6 shinobi out of countless over the past generations that had that type of potential.

I guess you don't understand level of competition. If you do than you would know it makes the difference and is the reason why at that time senju/uchiha were the best and most known. Also the senju and uchiha weren't that great. Only a handful of both less than 10 uchiha/senju are actually renown for their power throughout history. This generation's level of competition is much higher. A shinobi like part 1 neji would have been better than kid hashirama and kid madara, or even lee or sasuke and surely kid gaara was better than every kid version of the legendary shinobi's.

It's level of competition that caused itachi and kakashi to graduate the academy at such a young age as well as progress through the ranks like they did, to prove this look at the shinobi that kakashi had to fight as a kid up until the start of Naruto. He had to fight, asuma who is average, he had to fight kurenai( who is one of the weakest women shinobi ever, gai is the only shinobi that is exceptional from kakashi's generation besides himself. And Itachi's is even worse, his opponents aren't even known at all which means they are were suck fighters. Sasuke grew up fighting the Main, neji( who was the most skilled kid we have ever seen, lee, gaara who would have killed kid itachi or kid kakashi, sauske's had to fight harder competition which is why you think the rankings means something in this case when they don't because sasuke's level of competition > itachi's when they were young.

She is strong but hasnt really excelled that much to call her a genius in her clan. While she was able to connect everyone on the battlefield that is a pretty big feat so maybe. She is overall becoming very strong.

I beg to differ. Her father got a nosebleed communicating to the Shinobi alliance. She was able to do that with ease and project emotions across. She's a genius in my book.
