Sasuke still arrived not understanding his brother. He wanted to become Hokage directly. And unlike understanding everyone like it is supossed to be, he tries to bring everything himself without knowing anything or understanding it. His resolve was good but the way wrong. Doubt it. Naruto only wanted Sasuke saved and Naruto matured from last he saw Sasuke. He met his mother, took part in the war, heard wise words from Itachi, Learn to accept himself being a Jinchuuriki and earning the trust of other Jinchuurikis and their Bijuus and went through mental struggle with Obito's words. Naruto won't kill himself anymore, he's friends with Kurama and if he dies the Kurama dies and he wouldn't sacrifice 1 friend who's helping him for a friend who tried to kill him more than once.

As for Sasuke, after the war, who would pick him over Naruto for Hokage? It was already said both Naruto and Sasuke are going to defeat Madara so again his part in the war is nothing compared to what Naruto has done as a whole. Naruto has been fighting in the war in many battlefields for like 2-3 days plus is still fighting for them while Sasuke was at first preparing to kill Naruto and leaf shinobis.

Sasuke was already confirmed to have no future when Temari said so in the Kage Summit, no one that the Akatsuki hurt will stay quiet and neither will A, this was before Sasuke went and fought against the other kages. Sasuke is a International criminal

This scan clearly shows why Sasuke is not suitable to become hokage. He only ever thinlks about himself. Had Naruto not saved the alliance, Sasuke would have left them there to die. He is selfish, arrogant, too prideful, and doesn't give a damn about what others think, as seen here:

which is why Naruto was thinking about what Itachi said, because he recognized that Sasuke would try to change the village by force, which goes directly against the advice Itachi gave Naruto.
Sasuke doesn't deserve anything until he redeems himself, which would probably be through some sort of "Vegeta moment"
