Garbage chapter. You can't use sussanoo when you lack the eyes let alone visual prowess to do it. He has no eyes (as we saw at the end of the chapter) yet he used sussannoo without them. Lame it's like everything kishimoto says gets contradicted later on.
But Senju's DNA allow anyone to defy logic.

Eh, this week's chapter was alright. Not bad, but not good compared to chapter 657. There was hardly any story progression except for the very end, so it felt a bit like filler imo.

Nonetheless, it was quite cool to see Gaara in the spotlight, along with the Bijuu smacking around Madara. Serves him right for being overconfident, but I expect he'll have his brutal revenge next chapter.

I can understand how he managed to survive being smacked around and losing an arm (along with an impromptu eye transplant), since we're aware that part of Hashirama's power was healing without the use of seals/medical ninjutsu. Plus, we've seen Tsunade decapitated but still alive, which is arguably much worse than Madara's condition.

However, the thing I don't understand is how Madara escaped the binding with Susano'o. I guess it makes sense if one can use Susano'o after unlocking it even without eyes, since it's basically just a manifestation of chakra at that point, but it's usage should really be limited to those with the Sharingan activated. If Madara had Susano'o all this time, why didn't he activate it to fight the Bijuu? Seems a bit weak on Kishi's part.

Overall, I gave it a 3/5. Great action and all, but Madara's part could have been done much better and with more creativity.

Lol those fodders who finally ran away... It was nice to see C again though.

And Madara is so OP now, I mean, one man against all Bijuu, just like that? I hope he'll use Susanoo more from on now, to make it visually impressive instead of looking like a bunch of animals trying to catch a flea (a very strong one, but still) :|

Also, transplanting eyes and arms like it's nothing is wtf. Madara just joined the club of ninjas who lost their arms and brushed it off like nothing (though Deidara is still #1 in that regard). Overall it was an okay chapter, but I hope the action will get more impressive, even if it's hard to imagine at this point. Seriously, what haven't we seen already? Edo SO6P?

4/5 it was epic, and love how he got one of his Rinnegan back! But don't you need to wait for the eye sack thingy to get used to the eye or something? And how did he pull out a Susano'o.... ? THAT'S RIDICULOUS... But can't wait until next week :) but I think Kishimoto forgot that Madara is no longer Edo Tensei, so some of this stupid is bs..

Susanoo is not projected from the MS. See above where Itachi activated Susanoo when his MS has faded.

In fact, Susanoo is powered by the life force of the caster - the whole body of the caster is strained when Susanoo is maintained, and the caster's MS never bleed when using Susanoo (as opposed to, say, Amaterasu).
