I agree that everything shown DOES have significance to the storyline. Kishimoto often ends a chapter in a way that we are left with questions, and its the questions that frustrate some of the fans until the following week, and raises anticipation levels for the chapter. Well played I think.

Im torn about this manga. All the time and effort that Iv put in.....
The way things are going its the same situation but different players.
Sasuke is tryn to justify the killing of people who dont know the truth.
the ones who know what happened are dead.
Revenge is never justified. he needs to move on and the right thing.
his clan was in the wong and the leaf leadership handled the issue very poorly.

Maybe there's something about the Uchiha that we didn't still don't know completely. Sasuke's position is a tough one to be the last two of the Uchiha isn't really easy for him to adapt to a new environment suddenly. Revenge is what makes Sasuke's character even from the origins of Part I. Naruto is about becoming the hero, while Sasuke is more of a anti-hero in the series. He won't easily change even by Hashirama. Hashirama is there to plant the seeds of change in Sasuke, while Naruto is the one that will be given the task of dealing with Sasuke. Otherwise, Naruto's role given by Itachi would be defeated if Hashirama succeeds with changing Sasuke.

Yes Hashirama is a sage and an AWESOME ONE AT THAT. I dont think he would need to be a Sage with a contract to any animal as lets remember: trees, forests, plants, are all LIVING things. And happen to be his unique Kekkei Genkai. So he is very much a Sage in the original sense of the word.

Both i think. I can imagine the kyuubi Chakra combined with Perfect Susanoo and EMS Mastered by Uchiha Madara would evidently alter the flow of things in contrast to had he not combined them.

I'm not understanding why people think Sasuke is stronger then Naruto, also I'm not seeing why people are saying Madara is stronger then Hashi and/or Naruto. I went over this last week once EDO was explained. Madara was revived by Kabuto no Senju DNA to enhance the EDO, he might have Ren but he is no where near his orignal power...

5/5 We finally get to see my long anticipated battle; Madara Uchiha vs. Hashirama Senju, and it is much better then the video game version (as expected). Now I just hope Kishi doesn't make up some cockamamie story about Hashirama and Madara meeting each other as children instead of on the battlefield.

What?? are you mental? Orochimaru only has his snakes if not for them he would have no personal independence and even with Snakes he still can't fully enter Sage mode. All orochimaru did was steal everyones tech and tried to advance them. And if Madara can't mess with Hashirama then what makes you think Orochimaru can.
