100% with you!!! I feel a bit dissapointed but we'll soon know now that Naruto will do everything to ensure he is there for Sasuke... dead or alive

I liked this chapter. I'm thinking Kyuubi might start having some more respect for Naruto's power, and possibly, his light-filled (I'd go as far as to say Saint-like) chakra may begin purifying Kyuubi's evil.

Like mother like son....Naruto really lives up to the Uzumaki Clan's name.
If anyone remembers form the talk with Kushina, she mentioned the Uzumaki were blessed with long life. She also mentioned the Hashirama Senju's wife told her:
"...Ultimately, we were brought here to become the vessel of the nine-tailed fox...but before the beast can be housed...we must fill the vessel with love..."
One reason I see the Kyuubi giving Naruto the benefit of the doubt(inferred not said), is that Naruto's version of longevity is his perseverence(naive). The love that comes form that perseverence is so strong that even the beast that represents hate and arrogance is moved by it.
And because he's an opportunist. He doesn't want to hop back and forth between jinchuuriki who will take forever to build up power and chakra like Naruto. It's like samaheda. It desires the best candidate that feeds its desires. Also, like someone said, It doesn't consider being bound to the ten tails again to be "worthwhile."

I think this last chapter of Naruto starts to show the full growth of Naruto contrasting the insecure child Naruto with Naruto on the verge of becoming an adult with confidence in Hi's own abilities. No longer the child that boosted to gain false confidence in Himself, but a young man confident in His own abilities and believes. Net few chapters will show Naruto's growth to the world.

Well once again the fox is back but Naruto was better then him this time. I sure hope the two can work together soon. As others have mentioned on here. Look forward to more that is for sure.

great chapter, yeah the flash back was't really necessary. but can anyone explain me the page where sasuke was going to punch naruto but he stop staring something and naruto saying what is he looking at??!?
