I think Naruto will grow to have more of relationship with the 9 tails like Bee has with the 8 tails. Remember, he's still not an adult and he's communicating and controlling the 9 tails! Can you imagine how phat he'll be when's he on the same page with him like Bee is with his? PHAT!

The pillars didn't disappear, naruto just walked through them, into the cage to the fox, where he caged it even more.Hmm... Wasn't expecting it... Just like everyone said, the flashback was a waste of time, unnecessary... C'mon we know already about the damn hatred in sasuke, just get over with the flashbacks...
Looks like the kyuubi wanted to corrupt naruto's will and got a blast of it...

If naruto proves himself right, the kyuubi might co-operate with him... But kyuubi is treacherous old bleeder, untrustworthy! Did u guys notice how polite&understanding acting the kyuubi did? Very unlike him... I smell double dealing...
And those pillars were all over kyuubi's body the first time naruto had sealed it, but then why did they disappear? So naruto had to pin it again? Strange...!
Anyway, lets see what comes up next!

I really hope that naruto finally becomes friends with the kyuubi, I for one have always thought the kyuubi isn't really all that evil. But he was made that way, and was used I'm sure by several people. And like when naruto was trying to take his chakra and he poured his hatred into it, all kinds of ghost figures were all saying mean and cruel things to the kyuubi which is acceptable to some extent since he was being controlled at least one of the times he was used to attack.
So for this upcoming chapter I want naruto and the kyuubi to actually talk about something that will answer questions about the past or make a deal. I also hope that Tsunade & The Raikage show up too.

good conversation between naruto and the kyuubi... maybe the kyuubi feel something scared, he knows that naruto faces not only susuke but madara himself... a man who can control him and use him for his own power, a power to control ninja world i may say the opposite side of naruto... for sure the kyuubi will cooperate with naruto someday...

Uhg, this chapter was a complete and utter let down after the long 2 weeks of waiting, The story was progressing so well and now we get a filler chapter, Epic Fail. Gave this chapter a 2.

1. Totally forgot I had an account. lol but next point. Dude i totally think ur correct. haha (sorry about the Ebonics in words ) lol like in the beginning of the flash back Iruka is like with half a hand seal up to show respect (The Harishma and Madara statue in the valley of end) and like u said the linking of fingers is at the end of a fight to show harmony.... so if the half hand seal is the valley of end. maybe where Naruto n Sasuke fight would end with the the fingers crossed.. and would be called the Valley of Beginning (haha sorry if it sounds stupid. sounded somewhat clear to me in my head)

I'm sure next weeks chapter will have more excitement. Don't force Kishi to rush the story. He already skipped most of the war because people were crying that Naruto hasn't shown up yet.

First post on the forums for me! Yay!
This week's chapter, while not the most action packed or eventful, had big things happening in it. First off, I think that Naruto and the Kyuubi's conversation is the first step to Naruto truly mastering his potential as a jinchuuriki, which would put him up there with KB and the Hachibi.
The other big thing in this chapter was the harmony sign (or lack thereof). If you have seen the latest Naruto OVA that came out in early January (Naruto vs UT OVA), there is a scene where Naruto and Sasuke make the harmony symbol (it is near the end). Though the OVAs are not directly part of the manga or anime, I think it is too coincidental that the harmony sign shows up there and in this week's chapter. If you watch the end of the OVA, I believe that it represents the birth of Sasuke's EMS.
I think that Sasuke is going to turn against Madara and Kabuto during this war and use his EMS against them. IMO, Sasuke asked for Itachi's eyes not for crushing Naruto like he told Madara, but because what Naruto was saying to him after their last confrontation really shook him. The look on his face where Naruto says that he cares about him so much because he is still his friend was very open for someone who guards their facial expressions like Sasuke (page 14, chapter 486). Or, even if he asked for Itachi's eyes for the reasons he explained to Madara, I think that when he opens his new eyes and looks at the world through Itachi's eyes, things are going to be really different for him. His vision will be affected not only with how the world appears to him, but also how he perceives the world. Itachi's "vision" of the world was for it to be in peace. I think this will affect Sasuke's plans with Konoha, a village that Itachi was loyal to throughout his life.
It is my belief that Sasuke and Naruto will find harmony with each other through some way during this war, and then they can understand one another. Can't wait to see next week's chapter!

I always wondered bout the harmony symbol with naruto and his flashbacks with sasuke in previous chpt. Good to know what the fingerlock meant. However most of it meaningless. The attack could be drained out by seeing what has happened to the taka members, sasukes new EM, a recap of the battles we didn´t see. Something other then meaningless talk. We know the fox hates naruto and naruto believes in himself 100%. The fox might come to help him a bit later on but still why waste 13 pgs on meaningless chit chat. IMO it sucked. BTW thats a first for me,I usually enjoy all chp as they have something interesting, except this one.

Yeah I see what you mean. It its significant like that then maybe the legen will tell that they broke the cycle of uchiha vs Senju. Fights that had been raging on for many years came to an end when an Uchiha faced a Uzumaki. it would be better if the last fight actually became the last fight. The last Uchiha vs the last Uzumaki. Both of them died like Naruto said, But before they die they do the harmony symbol. That would be epic you know. Sasuke finally acknowledges Naruto as a friend and both die happy. just a thought.so they will create another valley for sasuke and naruto and they will call it "valley of Beginning" or they put them next to madara and 1st.
