Well there always was someone stronger at certain point in the timeline. I'll try to put them here :


Part 1 :

3 - Chunnin Exam Forbiden Forest : Sasuke(Tatics and Int) = Naruto(Raw Power)

5 - Chunnin Exam Fights Second Part : Sasuke = Naruto

Long story short, Sasuke was stronger for the most part of the manga, but Naruto managed to beat him and is currently stronger.

@ Nagato part: Nagato clearly sensed Itachi using amaterasu, but he couldn't do anything against it because Nagato was instructed to capture Naruto and Bee. Itachi Ka'd himself.

Is that a good idea? Toads get burned down via Enton or Amaterasu so if he really decides to keep them in there, they'd get burnt to ashes along with Gamabunta.

Also, Sasuke doesn't have to tank the FRS, instead he can turn the FRS on Naruto by hitting with Enton Projectiles allowing him to completely overtake FRS and turn it into nothing but flames that are headed straight towards Naruto. Similar to how he did

, but instead of matching the ratio to his own, he'd make his greater and FRS would be completely gone.

Yeah, I know. The point was to show that Amaterasu doesn't have to be used at the moment the chakra is built up.

I believe in part 1 of the series Naruto had a stronger will power and personality. But in strictly combat terms, Sasuke was the top dog of everyone is his age range. He had the Sharingan, which in part one could read movements ahead of time. Not to mention he had duel natured chakra, could use fire ball jutsu and chidori to add to part ones overpowered sharingan.

Now in the shippuden series I think Naruto is stronger in all aspects.
