The Rinnegan is the evolved form (yes pokemon term) of the Sharingan..aka the next progression...aka the next level...aka it was confirmed in the manga you noobs!

why do people argue that Rinnegan isnt evolved from sharingan.... The Uchiha Stone Monument has been said to apear readable to those based on the Ocular eyes they poses..starting from Sharingan and EMS to Rinnegan...so there for the Uchiha is related to the Rinnegan and that Order is to follow suit. the person i quoted made the most sense to me in these arguments...think about it

Nagoto lost to Jiraiya genjutsu. Tsukuyomi happens in seconds. You cant break it because bye the time your body knows it is trapped you are out of the genjutsu. It is called the ultimate genjutsu because you can not break it. Not killer bee and not nagato. If you think so your a nagato fanboy

1) It is impossible to break yourself out of Itachi's tsukuyomi unless you have a fully matured sharingan and is of the same blood line of Itachi. Nagato has none of these things.

2) Yes rinnegan is a natural evolution of EMS but Rinnegan and Sharingan/MS/EMS are two different dojutsus. See how Madara has to switch between the two and the fact that the rinnegan isn't clan exclusive like it's pre-evolutions.

Yes the rinnegan is evolved from the sharingan, but clearly having a sharingan didn't help Kakashi, who as far as we can tell, is far more proficient in genjutsu than Nagato is.

Itachi clearly says in the manga, that only someone with a sharingan and Uchiha blood can break HIS tsukuyomi. Not Sasuke's Tsukuyomi, not Tsukuyomi in general, but Itachi's Tsukuyomi.

Secondly Nagato has shown no skill with genjutsu, either dispelling it or using it.

And finally, Tsukuyomi does not give one the time to disrupt their chakra, as Itachi's takes place instantly. It has to be broken from within the genjutsu via the sharingan (or rinnegan in Madara's case, as he actually is an Uchiha).

By the way the rinnegan doesn't even make Nagato immune to regular genjutsu. Doujutsu allow people to see through genjutsu easier, but they can still be caught in it without realizing it, example is Sasuke in his fight with Itachi.

This right here, the OP assumes the rinnengan is a evolved form of the sharigan which has not been clarified in the manga yet...

What has been clarified in the manga is that picture of course.

Hey, dude, this is a bit ancient don´ta ya think, it´s from around manga no. 40 or so, many many statements around the sharingan have been made since then, all of those within the manga.


So, as it is not necessary to aim the tsukoyomi in an eye 2 eye action, but by using a finger pointed at blank.

Ihave numerous timnes too, whether it could be that u can do tsukoyomi and aim it only by thinking, as if sensed through the story.

nagato does not have to dodge amaterasu.

tsukyomi can be broken by disruption of chakra flow, nagato has an unusual levels of control over his chakra (most likely as a result of his dojutsu) and as a rinnegan user will know when tsukyomi is cast upon him.

The jutsu happens in a sec that is a fact. How can any ninja release chakra in a sec. Killer bee escaped sasuke MS genjutsu because as danzo said it is worlds below itachi. No one can focus the chakra needed to escape a genjutsu like that in two seconds. Tsukuyomi is the ultimate genjutsu.
