@ Derp Obito Mokuton is not something inherited. Hashirama created it on his own. There is nothing to suggest otherwise. Why the Juubi has it? Well, it's the source of all Chakra. It shouldn't be mind boggling if it posses nature manipulations at this scale. After all, it's basically creation of wood from the soil and manipulation.

Regardless of how they were created, they still inherited or were given RS's power by splitting it in half as the story goes. Had Rinnegan been RS's original power, the older son should have received it. Also, Juubi's own eye if you haven't noticed is basically an advanced Sharingan with more Tomoes. Who is to say that RS didn't subdue it with his own? It doesn't seem like a far-fecthed notion to me.

Mokuton I believe is the pinnacle of the manifestation of the Juubi's Yang Power that is awakened in the Senju, Hashirama being the only one among his kin to manifest the said ability, the same way that only a few among the Uchiha awakened the MS and EMS. That is why Madara specifically chose Hashirama's cells and not just any other Senju, because he was the only one to awaken the Mokuton during his time which is the Body (Yang) of the Juubi the same way Madara was the only one among the Uchiha who acquired EMS (Yin). The Juubi's Eye does indeed look like the Sharingan but the four concentric circles in it looks like the Rinnegan also, so I think both Doujutsus came from the Juubi, not because the Rikudou used his Sharingan to alter the Juubi's Eye.

The Juubi had Mokuton because Obito was linked to him. I doubt he has it now.

Not really, the Gedo Mazo itself is made of Mokuton, and it was used by Madara as a catalyst for creating Zetsu Clones.

It's because Mokuton is most probably the Juubi's Body (Yang)

Well, he was the catalyst because of the massive energy it provides. Also, even though he kind of resembles wood, I doubt he is actually Mokuton.

I respect your opinion on the matter, but to me it is apparent that the Elder and Younger Sons and their descendants are the separated Yin and Yang of the Juubi. :)

That makes sense after all the Younger and Elder Sons are two sides of the same coin.

This is how I picture the relationship of the Uzumakis, the Senjus and the Uchihas:

The Mokuton is the body of the Juubi:

You must be registered for see images

The Sharingan is the eye of the Juubi:

You must be registered for see images

The Rinnegan is the Juubi's Eye (Sharingan) + Body (Mokuton) combined:

You must be registered for see images

The Uzumaki Heritage (Life Force + Sealing Jutsu) is Rikudou Sennin's original bloodline prior to becoming the Juubi's Jinchuuriki:

You must be registered for see images

Rikudou Sennin divided himself into Yin and Yang:

You must be registered for see images

The Juubi's Yin became the Uchiha:

You must be registered for see images

The Juubi's Yang became the Senju:

You must be registered for see images

The Senju and Uchiha then are the body and the eye of the Juubi

Therefore the equation is:

Uzumaki (Rikudou Sennin) + Juubi = Senju and Uchiha

That is why the Uzumakis could not awaken the Rinnegan, because they do not have the Juubi's essence inside them, and that is why one could argue that Uzumaki is not stronger than Senju and Uchiha because it is the Juubi's Essence that empowers the Elder and Younger Son's Clans.

The Rikudō was unable to kill the full Jūbi and had to resort to sealing it instead; but as portrayed he returned from the battle without severed limbs or any life threatening injuries, meaning that he survived/evaded/ countered it's Biju-dama and other attacks to the possibility of it's Dōjutsu being functional....which leaves the question...

How many [alive] shinobi are able to conduct such a feat?

I always thought the Juubi was the source of the Sharingan and therefore the Uchiha but I did'nt think it was also the source of the Senju as well.I always believed the Elder Son inherited the Juubi's eyes and the Younger Son inherited the Rikudou Sennin's chakra and bosy.

More than anything, the Senjus and Uchihas are of divine origin, they are "God's Children" because they are the embodiment of the separated Yin and Yang of the Juubi.

I think it's pretty safe to say So6P solos all because he created the moon on his death bed while simultaneously splitting up God into 9 beings, whom he had previously kept inside his body for years. Also, he defeated that God in the first place and it was implied he did it singlehandedly. Add that to the Rinnegan and the Sacred Tools, and yeah.

Its not his feats in question, its the attributes that people contribute to him. How can people honestly say his Genjutsu and Speed are on par with Itachi and Minato, respectively?

Not God. Juubi was just an entity. It really exhibits no God-like sentience. He didn't really solo the beast. He ended up having to seal it.

The sage does solo all. Why? The Sage of Six Paths is none other than Teuchi himself, the ramen seller of Konoha.

@Thundercles: I really doubt he could match FTG and there is no real evidences of his speed but that doesn't necessarily make Minato stronger. Recollecting the fact that all varying Sharingan abilities seen thus far stemmed form the Uchiha ancestors [son of the Rikudo] Doujutsu; would be odd to say Itachi's tsukuyomi would take him down when his vitality and chakra pools were greater than both the Uzumaki and Senju and while a jinchuriki possessed power beyond anything seen thus far.

Oh, I completely agree with ya. Minato wouldnt be anywhere in comparison in terms of power. Well, the jury is still out on the Juubi's eye and what it actually gives its jinky.

In the latest chapters we see the Jūbi remembering The Rikudō with the Rin'negan while fighting Naruto, only implying that he possessed the eyes during the fight. Theoretically, it's Doujutsu [sharingan] was inherited also to the Uchiha ancestor and [ ] by the Senju Ancestor; giving reason as to why attenuation of the Uchiha Ancestor's Doujutsu resulted in The Sharingan and Hashirama [a senju] awakening Mokuton but only when the Uchiha and Senju DNA is combined then The Rikudō's doujutsu [Rin'negan'] can be awakened.

Not sure why everyone believes that the Rikudo Sennin couldn't defeat the Juubi with out sealing it. Maybe he thought it was a bad idea to destroy the origin of nature itself.
