Not sure why everyone believes that the Rikudo Sennin couldn't defeat the Juubi with out sealing it. Maybe he thought it was a bad idea to destroy the origin of nature itself.

The Juubi in it's prime state [as expected of the Progenitor of all things] possesses an infinite amount of chakra and regenerative ability; Rikudō's only option would have been to seal it as it cannot be killed.

In the latest chapters we see the Jūbi remembering The Rikudō with the Rin'negan while fighting Naruto, only implying that he possessed the eyes during the fight. Theoretically, it's Doujutsu [sharingan] was inherited also to the Uchiha ancestor and [ ] by the Senju Ancestor; giving reason as to why attenuation of the Uchiha Ancestor's Doujutsu resulted in The Sharingan and Hashirama [a senju] awakening Mokuton but only when the Uchiha and Senju DNA is combined then The Rikudō's doujutsu [Rin'negan'] can be awakened.

Why do people liken the beast's body with that of Mokuton? And I believe the Sage already had the Rinnegan prior to sealing. I mean that people have said the Juubi's eye gives Tsukuyomi or other crazy stuff like that.

I don't think the Juubi seeing Rikudou with the Rinnegan in 629 implies that he had it prior to sealing the Juubi, For one thing it could just be symbolic so Kishimoto's readers would be able to easily identify the Silhouette as Rikudou's, another thing is that a Bijuu is able to see the memories and experience of their hosts while inside them, or it could not be reminiscence at all in Juubi's part but rather it felt the presence of Rikudou's Chakra essence inside the Bijuus which are inside Naruto. The Rinnegan could not have come from any other source than the Juubi. The Rinnegan is the Eye of Samsara which literally means the Eye of Suffering, if Rikudou was born with the said Doujutsu then it would be called The Eye of the Bodhisattva. If Rikudou acquired the Rinnegan through meditation or through knowledge then it would be called the Eye of Nirvana or the Eye of Enlightenment, so it logically follows that the Rinnegan, which is able to bring forth all Ninjutsu came from the Juubi which is the source of all Chakra that fuels Ninjutsu, therefore I don't see the Rinnegan not coming from the Juubi one way or another.

Derp, if you remember, the Sage was responsible of the creation of Ninjutsu BEFORE sealing the beast within himself. So logically he should have some kind of dojutsu that enabled him to discover how chakra worked.

You don't know that.

The Juubi created chakra. It is comprised of the same chakra circulating the planet.

Remember the Juubi's Doujutsu can be used as a medium for casting genjutsu: Mugen Tsukuyomi.

Your theory is the strongest other possibility though, in that case [not having the Rin'negan] how do you suppose the Rikudo countered the Juubi's arsenal?

This is the dumbest thing I've seen you post. And you're a pretty good thread maker.

Anyways. He was a priest because he spread the ways of JUTSU around. Doesn't mean he's weak.

He literally is hashirama+madara x10

Well aside from Fuuinjutsu, I have hypothesized that Rikudou learned Senjutsu from the Animal Sages and was able to use it to a degree that he could stand on par with the Juubi in combat, using nature's power against nature's embodiment, like fighting fire with fire so to speak.

The other possibility is that Rikudou already possessed a part of the Juubi's power when he fought it, either from exposure from Datara, or most probably, by the Juubi's own volition by giving it to Rikudou meaning both of them had a sort of master and student relationship, that the Juubi developed a personality or consciousness over the aeons, Rikudou befriending it, it in turn teaching him the nature of Chakra and giving a portion of its' divine power to him. Only for both of them to have a falling out in the end because of man's misuse of its' gifts.

Ah! true, Senjutsu [Though I don't see it countering a TBB ].

I'm also under the belief that there was more to the Jubi's and Rikudo's relationship than it appears.

Indeed. Kishimoto's characters have always been purposive, and if we think about it, the Juubi has existed since the dawn of time, why did it only attack humanity during Rikudou's era, which Jiraiya stated was a time of endless war and strife, from that we could conclude that something made it hostile towards humans which is probably humanity's erring ways, not to mention that man used Ninjutsu contrary to Rikudou's intention which is to promote peace, but instead they used it to further ignite the flames of war, so probably the Juubi saw this and decided to eradicate humanity once and for all, but the Rikudou still wanted to believe in the light of humanity's will, so it had no choice but to battle its' former friend and master, successfully subduing it by sealing it inside himself.

Also there's the matter of Rikudou's ominous words to the Bijuus, saying that "Unlike when you were inside me, you will be lead down to the right path" it implies that the Juubi is within the sphere of morality, how can the Juubi be in the "unrighteous path" before if it did not have a consciousness or personality, it's like saying a mosquito is unrighteous in feeding from blood if it is indeed its' nature to do so, the same can be said about the Juubi, how could it be unrighteous on being antagonistic towards humans and life in general if it is in its' nature to be as such? so I think the Juubi that Kurama described as the mindless entity that doesn't have feelings or ideals and the Juubi that Rikudou fought were different, that the Rikudou-era Juubi had a mind and personality of its' own.

Sage was a Kami of Shinobis. The Shinigami of the RDS however is a death God.

No one can beat the Sage, however the people who have done extensive research say that the only person that comes closer to the Sage is Hashirama.

He had after all several tailed beasts under his command, and is the Strongest Shinobi of all time.

The Senju and Uchiha then are the body and the eye of the Juubi

Therefore the equation is:

Uzumaki (Rikudou Sennin) + Juubi = Senju and Uchiha

That is why the Uzumakis could not awaken the Rinnegan, because they do not have the Juubi's essence inside them, and that is why one could argue that Uzumaki is not stronger than Senju and Uchiha because it is the Juubi's Essence that empowers the Elder and Younger Son's Clans.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, what you trying to tell us is, if an Uzumaki implanted an Uchiha / Senju dna to their own, it mean they will awaken rinnegan. Or once Naruto became the Jubi's host he will automatically gain rinnegan.

Also if Obito became the Jubi's Jinchuriki, since he have both Uchiha / Senju dna, it will mean he will possess rinnegan on his own.

What?, Kabuto stated That Madara only has a fragment of the Sages power, The scans have already been posted.
Madara being immortal is all he has on the Sage, Thats all. It's like saying Edo Sakura > Nagato because nagato isn't immortal.

According to the 8tails, the juubi reaching it's final form is more of a threat than Edo madara. He didn't say jack about madara and was only worried about the juubi's final form.

I should've seperated the sentences.

I said that was Kabuto who said, he could now touch a fragment of SO6P's power through Edo Madara..... he did not say Edo Madara himself is a fragment of the Sage's power. And are you saying a guy who can create meteors and spam em without a no problem and can't run out of chakra.. is weaker then the Sage? uh no.

Have we seen Madara Uchiha unleash his full power on the alliance? no. I mean he could've just spammed couple meteors and killed them all..... .

His current statement on being closest to the SO6P most likely applied to the fact that he has Madara under Edo Tensei. Technically he was correct, though being closest to the SO6P does not mean you are anywhere near his level. You can be the largest ant and still be nothing to an elephant.
Incorrect, he said he was closest to the Sage due to Kabuto being able to give life to the rocks around him.. like the SO6P was able to.

Wow, King. You've reached a new low.

SO6P is easily above anybody we've seen yet, and the only one that has the potential to contend with him is the Juubi.

I'm going to make this as simple as possible:

The Sage defeated a full power, final form Juubi all by himself. He was never stated to have help, nor was any help shown in the panel of him facing the Juubi. Clearly he faced it alone. That in itself puts him above everybody, considering everyone is currently getting spat on by a non-full power non-final form Juubi.

You're other argument about Edo Madara >>>> The Juubi is even more ridiculous. Edo Madara is about to get crapped on by Edo Hashirama; I guarantee you that the Juubi however will go final form and crap on all of them.

Edo Madara was also stated to only have a fragment of the Sage's power. A FRAGMENT. As in no matter how powerful Edo Madara is, he's not even close to the Sage.

And what if the Juubi doesn't crap on them? The Hokage restrained the Juubi pretty easily now.... well to be accurate Hashirama..

And like I said where is Sage's counters for the Itachi "soloness".

Juubi isn't even final form, and not at full power. That feat means nothing.

Sage's counter for Tsukuyomi? Will Itachi out of existence with perfect Ying/Yang control.
