Obviously if I support not giving guns to convicted violent criminals then I support back ground checks to an extent. Fack no to a waiting period, and fack no to restricting the types of guns the people can fight a tyrannical govt with

Just imagine when John Doe gets an AK because he never committed a crime before due to the fact that his first crime is shooting up a school with his newly bought AK. Oh I wonder how that could have been prevented.

None of us needs anything more than pistols and hunting rifles to be ready. Gun shops could simply supply us when and if the need comes. But right now, today, restrictions and restraints on the type of gun you get is more reasonable.

I'm sorry but guns should not be easily accessible to people, and if they are accessible at all, then it should be heavily regulated and monitored.

"Guns don't kill people, people do!" Ok and how stupid is it to let those people have easy access to guns? You can't look and tell who murderers and robbers are, so how will you know who your selling a gun to? You won't. You can't.

You realize if it gets to the point of the US fighting its own civilians, it'll likely be a civil war and they will likely have no problem attacking or killing civilians to get their mission done. Look at what they do in the middle east. We'll bomb a house with full families in it just to get 1 terrorist confirmed living there.

Not to mention you'll be severely outmatched in any battle setting. They have superior everything. To think you have any form of edge over the US military is just ridiculous. To think you'll be able to shoot a few men and women and then run back to gen. pop. and act as if nothing happened is foolish. You'll be hunted like dogs and bombed while you sleep. Civilians lack the ability to make precision strikes which the military does not. You underestimate the US military far too much, this isn't 1775. 'Guerrilla warfare' won't work.

It worked in vietnam 1. 2 America will be resistant to destroy it's own cities. When the war is over, what would they be left with. Just like Russia is arming the Ukrainian rebels now, they would arm us as well.
