Sadly no. Without Hashi's dna whether you have water and earth.. you can't attain Mokuton.

rinnengan also gives more options and in order to use it I would at least have to be a senju w/ good reserves. Yamato can use mokuton so the requirements are only DNA

The Shinju kinda reminds me of the Moidon, the ancient Tree Kamis worshipped by the ancient Japanese long before organized religion was established:

It's also something to note that the Moidon, though worshipped as a god, is easy to take offense from those who take something from it (twigs, leaves, branches,etc.) kinda like how the Juubi went rage mode when Kaguya took and ate its fruit.

Lets not bring in SM. As far as we know Rikudou might not even have SM. So lets not include that.
