For one, Minato is a failed ass ninja for not sensing that Tobi is obitio!

2, They hyped his ass up to be one of the greatest shinobi ever! But ever since his place on the battlefield he just turned out to be an average ass ninja that went to college and picked teleport-no-jutsu major and had all the best mentors while his senior project was create "rasengan". Nothing special about him. He just been raised with a spoon in his mouth and had the best girlfriend in the village.

I don't know man, I was die hard Minato fan before this war. I was like this ninja is the god!(I honestly believed that minato would beat the first hokage) I was like he Can't be touch! Im like he will "instant transmission kamehameha" anybody in NV! When he got to the battlefield first and stop the 10 tails's bomb. I was so happy as ****, I was like Madara about to get that ass raped! Then he pull out KCM, I was like it a done deal, nobody can't **** with him!

several chapters later, one arm, can't even save naruto, third hokage had to save him. He feeling guilty about his son going through so much suffering. All I said was no comment. Then he pull out the sage mode! I was happy as **** for a second! 10 seconds later, I stop acknowledging him for good.

So I feel like if anybody can master the same teleport-no-jutsu as Minato, they can basically be good as him or even better.

So to me Minato just an average ass ninja with some of the best jutsu(s)!

This ain't really bashing. I guess im saying that He ain't what I thought he was. He just a regular ninja to me!

Yeah Minato does seem to only have "average" chakra, but it's what he did with it that made him a bad mofo. Yeah sure, there were several ninjas who had way more chakra, but they still couldn't beat him. Minato was smart, fast and quick to make decisions. He was fourth Hokage for a reason. Orochimaru probably had bigger chakra, but Minato was strong for other reason. He also knew a bunch of Fuuinjutsu (or whatever it was called, the sealing jutsu) that he learned from Kushina's mother. I think the reason that he only had average chakra was what made him a great shinobi, but HE MADE IT COUNT. He took his average chakra and still could beat anybody in the leaf village, except maybe Sage mode Jiraiya.

I agree with much of what you said. I was really disappointed in how he was handled after he came back as an Edo. Kishi seriously ****ed him.

IMO he should have stayed dead, so we could only imagine how good he was. Instead of basically telling us that FTG was his only major feat.

Here is what I thought:
He must have more jutsu that what we've seen, a chakra nature that he owned with and other great abilities. The only reason why we never saw that is because he was so good that he basically never needed to do more that to use FTG + rasengan.

He was the hokage after all, and hinted many times to be the greatest of them all. Hiruzen even said while fighting Orochimaru that he HAD to keep Minatos Edo coffin from coming up, because he knew he would be completely ****ed if that happened.


No Minato was mishandled by Kishi

whatt??? Kushina's teacher is the the 1st hokage's wife. So I don't know about that. But yeah he is good ninja but ain't all that. Orochimaru suppose to be the 4th hokage but 3rd hokage didn't trust him.

First, minato is the only edo hokage who was unlucky, other got hit terribly worse, but when minato was hit, they say something negates ninjutsu, Minato is the only one who would still be alive if they weren't edo tensei, only he will still be in his current condition, to me only tobirama has tried and proven himself to an extent, hiruzen and hashi despite been complete haven't done much
