FTG is based on an uzumaki seal. Minato studied it and turned it into teleportation, don't know how the second learned it. Did he even use seals?

You just basically went against your own argument. You said Kakashi taught himself but Minato was spoon fed .

But you you also realize that none of Minatos teachers could have spoon fed him FTG so just like Kakashi he taught himself .

Just have to add another thing in how Kishi screwed Minato.


I was initially under the impression that Minato invented all his techniques. That he studied Uzumaki seals and TBB and by that invented FTG, RDS and rasengan, among many.

But Kishi had to hype Tobirama since we knew nothing about him except that his water techniques were good, and that he was a sensor. So suddenly he was a teleporter as well. And not just a teleporter, he used the same damn technique as Minato, and invented it. Thank you Kishi, thank you.

Would it be so hard to just make up a new cool jutsu for Tobirama instead?

Not really. When you read the manga and anime, Kakashi was busy most of the time. Minato didn't live long enough to train him either. Maybe if he had lived long enough, Kakashi could've learn some jutsu from him or help make chidori a better jutsu or whatever.
