He broke the torii gates not because the're weak. But because Madara is stronger than anything Hashirama has to offer.

If we go with Hashirama's previous usage of the gates, he only uses them as much as he needs to restrain the limit. Considering Madara was weakened when he used the gates. I mean if the gates were meant for something like the Juubi, Madara would have no chance.

Duely noted, and I agree. Although....you said they were both tired, but Madara never showed to be such. Which is kinda weird because Hashirama is the only person there capable of pushing Madara. I kinda think Madara was just fighting to pass the time until he could strike Obito.

I'm not in denial about anything. Hashiramas attack was admirable, but it was a failed effort...as it exhausted everything he had just to restrain Madara. Also with the aid of Naruto it still was shown to be futile.

No I said Madara was weakened. This is shown when he couldn't do anything against the wood dragon and the gates, until he was revived. Madara has shown to be too much of a prideful person to take sh*t from the guy he hates the most.

It was he himself who started attacking Hashirama to take control of him. And now he can, seeing as Hashirama is well in his current state.

I see that analyzing the situation isn't the best quality of majority of the members. Seeing as everyone is going off of what they say, instead of connecting the pieces and rereading it.


Madara broke out of the lil tiny gates due to this:

1. His chakra had been put to check, him and Hashirama were tired af, so Madara already weakened hella much.

2. Naruto's Rasenshuriken weakened him more. And then Hashirama threw in the gates, that were needed to control a weakened Madara not a full powered Madara.

3. Notice that Hashirama didn't even use the bigger gates which increase in size according to how powerful the thing is. We can witness this against Obito, that he only puts down the gates according to the need.

4. When Madara did the rinne tensei, he returned back to full powered living state (which he had been in starting of their Edo fight), meaning the gates that were put on a weakened Madara were of course going to fail...its kind of common sense..

5. So there you have it how Madara was able to break the Gates.. that weren't even that strong to begin with...

In your #1 it says "he and Hashirama were tired af" Idk....I don't think he has control of Hashirama, just a feeling. I also think Hashirama has an ace up his sleeve just a feeling.
