As two hours of meditating goes by, Neji finally senses someone is behind him. Unsure of who, he preforms 12 hand seals and channels is chakra into both of his eyes; activating his Byakugan.
While still in the meditating position, he realizes that it is just Lunã and speaks in a calm & soft tone, "Konichiwa, Lunã! I hope that you didn't encounter any distractions on your way here; being late and all." After deactivating his Byakugan, he stands up and leaps forward, landing 5 feet in front of her. He gives a slight smile and asks, "Shall we begin?"

A girl, blonde as can be, stands before you. She wears her hair back in a ponytail which sits gracefully between her shoulder blades, her clothes are black and loose fitting, she has clearly come prepared for a workout, which believe me, this will be.
Upon seeing you turn and hearing your words, she halts her own movement, watching as you leap toward her in what seems a frenzy of excitement, exploding through your body at this one single moment. When you land in front of her she eloquently places her left hand on your right shoulder and smiles, she does so in order to calm her clearly prepared student. Smiling to herself and to you, she speaks.
"Please, call me Emily. And although I am glad you clearly came ready to work, let's say we save your energy for later yeah? I apologise for my delay, but let's not waste any more time." She scans your body up and down with her eyes.
Turning her back to you and walking a few paces away, her words continue.
"This will not be easy, this path you've chosen. The life of a shinobi is not an easy one, it comes with dangers beyond what you can imagine and is filled with people darker than any shadow. We fight for many different reasons, and I'm sure you have your own individual reasons for wanting to learn."
She turns her head and looks at you with one eye, but through even this weakened gaze you can tell she's smiling.
"But don't worry, I'm not here to judge you or your past. Just be sure that what you do is what you truly want. Anyway..."
The ground between you and I begins to lower, creating a 5 foot deep square crater in the earth. Once this is done the woman gestures elegantly toward the pit as she speaks next.
"Drop down into the hole, I'll close you in once you're down there. Then, when you're completely submerged beneath the earth I want you to tell me how it makes you feel, how it feels to the touch. Then tell me what it is to a ninja? how does it work in terms of how we would go about producing earth chakra? Just give me a shout if it becomes too terrifying".
She crosses her arms and listens in politely through the roof, making sure to leave a gap for the sound of his voice to escape.

When Emily begins to speak, Neij starts to settle down and listens solemnly to his sempai. As he hears Emily's explanation, he nods "Um, sure." and drops down into the hole. As the roof closes in on him, Neji looks straight up & then back down again. Following her directions, he walks around the square room and begins to feel on the walls. "Well, it feels rough, if that's what you're asking

Doton techniques do not require existing earth as they can be created by the user's chakra and is made by infusing chakra with the ground and using shape manipulation."
After giving that explaining, he walks over to the opening in the rock ceiling and shouts, "Can I come out now or can I do it myself?"

Emily looks into the sky while she listens to her student, her face tells a story of indifference, occasionally she smiles, other times she squints and tilts her head from side to side. At the close of his reply she walks to the pits edge, dropping her head to look down into the darkness, sure that he could see her from below. Looking down at him she speaks.
"It's funny, how we can all get such different but equally powerful emotions from something the world would perceive as lifeless. When you truly think about it, the earth has more stories to tell than any human ever will, yet through everything, it stays strong. Neji nods once again, as he walks once more against the room; his hand sailing across the rock wall. As he is walking, he replies, "Lets see.. Earth is composed of various types of minerals such as sand, silt & clay. The earth which we stand on comes in many textures, such as it being smooth & soft [dirt] to being as hard as concrete [bedrock]."

As he speaks Emily bends down and grabs a handful of earth then, by channeling chakra into it, she turns it into a long stick made entirely of rock. With the stick in hand she takes a few steps to her left and removes the roof from the pit. Whilst hiding the stick behind her back she gestures for the boy to join her on the surface, as he does so, she speaks.
"Good. So you can imagine that earths offensive capabilities come primarily from it's firmness as well as its physical, blunt force. But, as you mentioned earlier, it is versatile and their are other ways in which we can use it, for instance..."
She kicks a large cloud of dirt up into your eyes before sweeping your legs with the earthen stick. As you fall to the ground she increases the weight of the stick drastically and drops it onto your stomach, effectively pinning you to the ground. Standing over you, she speaks once more.
"My teacher taught me, their is no better way to learn, than to experience. So that is what we are doing... It may hurt now, but you will understand when it comes to the true training, this is a necessary step toward you achieving what I'm sure you can."
She bends down and clasps the stick once more, as she does so, she decreases its weight and offers you a hand to get up. As you reach your feet, she pulls a small piece of paper from her pocket.
"I'm sure you're already familiar with this... It's chakra paper, cup it between your palms and it will change its properties depending on what type of chakra is channeled into it. So, think back over everything we have spoken about earth, its structure and properties, then use that in order to form 'earth chakra'. Release the chakra into it, and for this exercise, it should turn itself to a pile of fine dirt."

As Neji stands up, he notices Emily sticking out a blank piece of paper. "What's this?" After hearing her instructions, he grabs the white paper by two fingers and send his focus of the rock towards the paper, allowing chakra to flow into it. In a matter of seconds, Neji begins to notice the white parchment begin to crack which is followed by the paper transforming into dirt & crumbling onto the ground. "Amazing!"

Watching as her student takes the paper between his fingers Emily is quick to grab his hand in her own. She pulls his free hand over and places it over the first, leaving the paper cupped between his palms. With a smile she takes a step back and speaks.
"Try it like that."
She stands a mere step away, watching on once more.

Watching on, Emily laughs at the boys sudden outburst. She takes the dirt from his hand and crumples it in hers, allowing it to fall freely onto the ground, ready to start a new life with his friends in the earth.
"I'm glad you think so, sometimes it's the small things that people need to learn to appreciate. Now that you have a feel of what earth is like in chakra form tell me of its strengths and weaknesses, how it reacts with other elements and so on."
Awaiting his response Emily begins stretching, mainly working her legs and back.

As Neji is explaining, he activates his Byakugan and zooms in to watch Emily-Sempai stretch."Doton is strong to suiton because it has the ability to absorb the water and/or resist it & only turns to mud. It is weak to raiton because earth is a good conductor of lightning which breaks the ground apart. When combined with Katon & Futon, it creates Jiton [Dust release]. When combined with Katon, it creates Youton [Lava release]. When combined with Suiton, it creates Mokuton [Wood release]." As he is still looking with his Byakugan, he whispers, "Make sure to work on those gluts too "

Being a student of sound release Emily's ears easily pick up on her students whisper, yet for now, she ignores it, acting as though she had not heard. She returns to an upright position and reaches into her top, drawing a piece of paper from within her bra. She unfolds the paper and hands it to her student, allowing him some time to read what's written she walks to a nearby rock, again stretching out her legs and waist.
"Once you've read through all that let me know and we can move on. Try to memorise it where you can though as it is all very important stuff."
The note reads:

When it comes down to earth verses wind or fire, It's usually equal to it, but as with every jutsu, the effectiveness depends solely on size, shape and affects of each jutsu.. For example, you use the A rank wind blade vs An A rank earth wall which is both tall and wide... That wind won't have enough area of effect to damage the entire wall, instead it'll simply affect the point it hits; though it could end up crumbling the entire wall if you hit it in the proper places..
When in comparison towards KG's and hidden abilities, this is earth's Strength and weaknesses:

After Neji is finished explaining, he notices Emily walk over to him. When she hands up the piece of paper, he swiftlly swipes it from her hand and reads it. As he is skimming through the text, he begins to re-read everything until he has it down. "Ah, I see." After 5 minutes have passed, he finally memorizes the information on the letter and folds the piece of paper into the shape of a plane. He then flings it towards Emily, "Here, Catch!"

After the unexpectedly long wait Emily smiles once her student expresses his understanding of the note. She catches the oncoming paper plane and places it carefully on a small rock by her left foot. Returning to her standing position she asks a series of questions.
"Good to see you actually took your time to take it all in. I suppose you won't mind us doing a little test then?"
She creates a small dome of earth over the paper plane before continuing.
"If you wouldn't mind deactivating that Byakugan of yours..."

Damn, it didn't work... we'll pass on this section of the training xD It's fine, just a bit annoying.

She stands up before she is anally penetrated by his technique, moving to the left to observe.

He then uses shape manipulation to cause a doton spike to from the ground beneath the dome and manages to pierce the small parchment and extends through the dome. He then adds a little more chakra into the ground and causes a second spike to form and hits Emily in the bum. >_o
