Lets face it, Tsunade only became Hokage beacause Jiraya said no!

Compare Tsunade to former Hokages = Hashirama! Tobirama! Hiruzen! Minato! She is WAY out of her league! I like Tsunade, she is a great character, but she is not Hokage material. Im sorry to say.
I base this on a couple of things, if Pain for example knew Hashirama was guarding Konoha, he NEVER would have invaded, or if Minato, Tobirama or Hiruzen where guarding, it would have been to risky for pain, he would have used another tactic to get Naruto.

Jiraiya went to Pains home turf and kicked his ass! Killing four of them and getting vital info that SAVED KONOHA He sacrificed himself. And his story/book about Naruto and Nagato is what changed Nagatos mind in the end. He even used Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to bring back everyone that had died.

Tsunade did..... nothing....

Ok, she healed everyone but that was too little to late, after Pain allready had destroyed her village, the ultimate defeat for a Kage.

Try to imagine what would have happened if another Hokage was there when pain invaded? Fact = Hashirama or Tobirama or Minato or Hiruzen + Kakashi would have destroyed pain even before Naruto came back! Tsunade just stod there shaking her fist in anger " why you darn pain"

To be honest, with some added plot assitance I think Tsunade would have given the Six Paths a run for their money. I'd like to see that fight.

Also, of course Tsunade wasn't the first choice. She was retired, she never was an option before Jiraiya said he can make her come back to the village.
Also Hiruzen is clearly the weakest hokage. Minato belongs in the same skill level with Tsunade. :|

idk why danzo didnt fight pain, i think he could have helped a lot kakashi, choza and tsunade in this fight (perfect team choza long, kakashi mid, danzo close, tsunade medic)

Danzo remained underground with his anbu because he wanted Tsunade dead. He wanted to be hokage.
He even said that Tsunade can keep the villagers alive with her jutsu. xD What an ass.
