I'd argue that benders are more advanced in Korras time, much more specialties and what not. We have seen once rare abilities like lightning being worth about a decent salary in a republic city factory.

What do you mean no power up? When we talk about Unalaq, we are talking about the dark avatar, who even has access to his giant unavaatu form. I am sorry he ain't touching the latter two versions. If you consider that a power up (even though it's permanent), then we must consider Sozins comet, which is very much temporary a power up as well, and it should be called out on it if that's the case (even though that's the only ozai we saw in combat).

Flight Zaheer is debatable, I could see Comet Ozai winning (has more fire power), but there is a chance that Zaheer outlasts him until the comets fully passes him by.

they have more sub abilities but not raw power that these ppl from the war had. look at toph and compare it to her dauthers look at how easily she wrecked everyone in ep 10. the benders have more raw feats much better than LOK members.

thats what a power up is he went to better formm like ozai did with comet ofc i kno he isnt beating dark avatar but he is better than base unalak aka human version when without vaatu in him.

A)She wasn't aiming to kill. It's it makes 0 sense to kill hostages she plans on using 4 leverage.
B) she wasn't aiming at him.
C) when she finally does aim at kai he was left unconscious.

No tenzin isn't. He only bested zaheer who had it 4 two weeks. The momoment the others stepped in he began to get his ass kicked.

Aang would get murdered by unavattu. Ravva would get yanked out of his chest 0 diff then unalaq would spirit bend his soul into oblivion.

He was powered up by Sozin's comet during his final fight with ozai and as such isn't a reflection of what he's actually capable of. Same goes for ozai's flight.
If that's being factored in then you might as well give all the water bending villains full moons. Heck it took the avatar state just for prime aang to break yakone's blood bending and it wasn't even night time.

she did take down kai and one hostage isnt equal to all of them so she did not care for his well being she as trying to hurt him, but she hit so close to him and he didnt even get hurt multiple times. She is a lot less powerful than Combustion man.

Aang would beat korra down so bad she has crap AS feats and yet aang would lose to unavaatu he would mid diff him in AS.

he is better than zaheer, he blew ghazan and zaheer at the same time, blew away ming hua too. he is individually better.

korra gets help for every single villain she is a weak avatar in general

look at aang vs general iron in the comics he can do most of the stuff except not the fire blasts most of his feats were mainly earth and air that were best in ozai's fight.

She didn't kill kai. Zaheer flat out said" were using you as leverage" u can't have leverage if they're all dead. It took lin, suyin and a good 10 well trained metal benders to pressure her. And lin nearly killing herself just to get suyin enough time to get a hit in. Cumbustion man has nothing on that.

Obviously aang would beat korra. She lost her connection whereas aang still has 1000+ avatars to call on 4 help. But fact of the matter is the moment she became a full realized avatar (end of season 1 to end of season 2) she was stronger than aang. That's just how avatar mechanics work.

Unavattu still craps on him since 0 avatars bar korra know that ravva can be yanked out of the avatars body.

FACT.

Him getting 1 hit in=/= him being better than them. Since they did the same to him.

Korra gets help because korra's villians are HAX.
In Korra's age ppl like zuko or iroh or ozai are weaklings.

What's ozai doing to a bloodbender?
Or a dark avatar?
Or kuvira in her mecha giant?
