For meta Cjs I was thinking more of how for example infusion and damage boost techniques have been a thing for some time now. For battles, do people like to go for oneshots, battle of attrition, etc.

Yes infusion techniques are sometimes what makes you win fights. Many people also have Yin and Yang or both as well making very potent infusion techniques when fighting people that doesn't have that. Taijutsu and speed is very potent now as well. I personally never attempt one-shotting and i know a few others but yeah. It depends on the person you fight, but i think it has decreased a bit since one-shotting doesn't necessarily give any kumi for anybody in an official fight(they need to be long enough now to get Kumi unless you wager).

That's good to know, will pay more attention to speed and tai.
