Congratulations, Kishi, you finally sold out. In the end, you gave up the moral of Naruto, and the main message in the series, to soothe a fan base that whines whenever it doesn't get it's way. Finally, we have given up on actual storyline so Sasuke could undergo a forced and contrived turn to evil (EVUL) once again, just so Sauce fans could be happy. Wow...just, wow. Honestly, I'm disappointed, unlike a lot of the fans here, some of us actually care about the story, but, nope, we had to contradict almost 100 chapters just to have this stupid fight at the end. What happened to forgiveness, overcoming the Curse of Hatred? But, that doesn't matter, because people need to see "MAD SHARINNEGAN HAXX YOOOO". Sasuke has officially become the biggest **** in all of Naruto.

Also, on top of all that, making an anime episode that's literally just a two episode long product placement?

The anime did a poor job at promoting the Mecha Naruto concept, well for me. It was garbage.

Kishimoto basically did, forsaking the themes of the manga to give fans the Naruto vs Sasuke fight that they clearly couldn't live without. And, the Mecha Naruto fillers are basically what you just mentioned above.

The series hasn't ended, you don't know how the fight will be resolved, it could start off with an epic fight, and end with some serious conversation of ending the hatred. We have to see instead of make assumptions. Also, Naruto stated he will end the Ashura/Indra quarrel. This can't be done through violence as shown before.

Happy endings? I like development that makes some goddamn sense. What Kishi did would be like having Vegeta try to kill Goku after beating Majin Buu, or having Zuko try to kill Aang after taking out Ozai.

it's better than fighting Majin Vegeta before fighting Buu. It gives it more importance.
