all j-man has to do to win is summon ma and pa and one of the big frogs, fuse with ma and pa and start to go into SM
If kisame comes at him ma and pa puts him in their genjutsu/ big frog protects him, and then j-man goes SM....game over

From what I've read so far. I thought of different way to defeat Kisame. Why would Jiraiya even bother to go into the SM on the battlefield?
He would create a kage bunshin and avoid getting hit as long as possible. Meanwhile - Reversed kuchiyose to Mount Myōboku (where he can't be followed), turn into SM, merge with Pa'n'Ma, summon Bunta, Ken, Hiro and happily have him summoned back into the battlefield.
Even if the kage bunshin would be destroyed, Kisame would probably be suprised and wondering from where would Jiraiya ambush him.
Since then, the battle will be really quick and over in a minute.

I'm going with kisame on this one even though Jiraiya is one of my most favorite characters. Sure Jiraiya has sage mode but it takes him foooooooooooooreeeeever to summon ma and pa for it samehada would have a feast of chakra before sm activated kisame would merge with his sword do the giant water prison thing absorb all jiraiyas chakra and bing boom bam shark man has a nice frog dinner

Jiraiya would've already killed Kisame had it not been for Itachi using Amaterasu to free them from the fire toad's throat.

like i said,kisame has already said he CAN NOT FIGHT (not that he can't DEFEAT jiraya,but he can't fight him),so i don't know why ppl still put him in danger,even u by saying in jiraya's primeU_U, that will just be too easy,if he with samehada could not take on old jiraya(even with itachi wiling to back him up) how do u want him to take on jiraya in his primeU_U

i won't even go into details but i want to ask u to explain to me, how samehada can absorb SM jiraya and still give it to kisame,do u even watch the manga:flaw:
and why did he not do it when he had the chance with itachi,HE RAN FOR HIS FISH LIFEU_U

Jiraiya doesn't really need SM to defeat Kisame imo. In order for Kisame to use Samehada and swipe some of Jiraiyas chakra, he has to be in close contact with him, so it's safe to say Kisame specializes in close combat, not really taijutsu because it's a sword. Jiraiya's expertise is ninjutsu, so this would make it hard for Kisame to get his chakra. Kisame also uses ninjutsu, but Jiraiya gets the upperhand in that area by summoning the toads. Kisame then goes for the water prison, where Jiraiya easily adapts due to the toads once again. I think Kisame will eventually run out of options and Jiraiya would eventually take him out, I say with mid difficulty. Remember, Kisame already stated he can't manage against Jiraiya, and he didn't know shit about SM, so I don't really think Jiraiya needs it.
