Kisame + Samehada vs Jiraiya

I think Kishi always changes opinions like in many manga everything changes as time goes on most things said at the beginning are irrelevant now cause when Kishi was writing the story he didnt know that hed have to take Kisame back an d make him strong ennough to go up against B... So when Itachi said him and Kisame would manage only to stalemate with Jiraya I have to disagree.... however this thread is Kisame vs Jiraya so I gotta go with Jiraya cause Kisame is a little reckless or takes life as a joke and Jiraya he always comes through in fights

I'd say that after reading this thread through and looking at everyone's posts, that Jiraiya would win with mid to high difficulty.

Kisame is only powerful because he can absorb others chakras through Samehada. If you absorb sage chakara you become a frog. So, there goes his biggest advantage. So now it is basically Jiraiya vs Kisame.
While kisames giant water ball technique would defiantly give Jirayia some trouble i think he would be able to get out of it some way or another.
He could summon Gamabunta to jump out of the water and gain distance.
Maybe make a giant rasengan to disrupt the flow of the water and spin it to make a tornado of water affect where the middle would be a pocket of air so he can breathe and escape.
To me that is the only advantage Kisame has and I think Jiraiya would be able to handle it one way or another.

kisame has demonstrated his power before against against opponents who are very close to if not higher than jiraiya in skill level and power in the jinchuruki hes captured. jiraiya cant win this fight unless he removes sameheda from the equation now i know sage mode provides a neverending supply of chakra to the user but sameheda can continue to steal it and recycle the power to kisame so in essence they both have alot of chakra to waste on eachother now given that jiraiya is in his prime for this fight im thinking is he stronger than kisame in terms of physical strength sorry jiraiya fan boys he is not also working against him is kisames ability to heal at anypoint during combat by fusing with his blade oh and kisames a water user the terrain is totally in his favor.
long story short awesome fight would love to see this madara guy(its obviously his younger brother not actually madara) use his new jutsu courtesy of kabuto revive kisame konan and jiraya to battle.

This is a tricky one just because of samehada's abilities but with pa & ma toad in jiraiya's corner sage ninjutsu would win in the end

Samehada + sage chakara = turn Samehada into froggy, and even Kisame if he absorbs Samehada's chakara

Jiraiya would win, both Fukasaku and Shima with him and their knowledge, plus sage power, oh and if Kisame tried to use Samehada he would turn into a Toad since he has not trained to be compatible with sage power, adding jiraiya's incredible intelligence he will win..

Jirayia would win, he has more experience, and also you said "in their prime", then Sage Mode has to be present, and if Kisame uses Samehada to drain Sage chakra, we all know what would happen to both of them, Kisame and Samehada U_U

samehada eats kisame, then jiraiya summons a toad which keeps samehada in their belly for like....60 years until some1 needs it again.

kisame' samehada is eating all of jman charka. kisame wins this. the stronger his opponents are the more stamia he gets from the battle. the tailess bijuu wins this. whats funny is i dont think kisame would allow jman to get into sage mode

When itachi and kisame fought with pervy sage itachi said himself that if they fought him to the end that all three would have died so without itachi and wit pervy sage having more chakra natures and him knowing way more jutsu than kisame I'm saying pervy sage the winner
