itachi based on how scared kisame was of him dude uchiha's aren't easy to fight nor beat,but as a what if thing? i would like to see kisame seriously hurt itachi badly and surviving:shrug:.

That tech will definitely give kisame the adantage because he would be able because he would be able to use his water techs faster because he has water surrounding him which will make itachi's fire tech useless.
Also itachi and kisame has been partners for a long time... im sure kisame knows not to look into his eyes.
Also he could block ameratsu with his water techniques(i didnt say stop or put out ameratsu i only said block)because as seen in the sasuke vs itachi and the garra vs sasuke ameratsu can be blocked.

I always liked Kisame a bit better than Itachi. But really Itachi's Susanoo is the only thing that I'd say can keep Kisame at bay. The yata mirror can probably block the shark missle and the sword of totsuka can seal the user(I think you meant can't seal jutsu). But I think Kisame can still win if he uses Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave to drowned Itachi as he almost did with Bee...see here

I doubt even with Susanoo, Itachi would be able to escape that technique. And his movements would be limited and won't be able to wield the Sword of Totsuka effectively, not to mention giving Kisame a ridiculous advantage if fused with Sameheda.

Don't forget about Sharingan

Kisame would have to be able to meet the circumstances
that the raikage has put forth, and let me tell you.. the raikage
is a hell of a lot faster than Kisame, in and out of water. The
reason why Sasuke was able to block Itachi's amaterasu was
because he's a sharingan user who's able to detect jutsu's of
all kinds. Gaara was an outsider, and seen that sasuke used
amaterasu to block raikage's knee, so gaara blocked it by using
his sand. but there's no way in hell that kisame is going to be able
to block itachi's amaterasu. He's not gonna be as fast or faster and
able to predict his eye movement like raikage. Just because one
character can achieve or do something that doesn't mean that
another will be able to. Like someone already stated, the right
circumstances have to be met!!

I understand knowing ones ability, doesn't=the ability to counter. I feel that Kisames's 1000 shark jutsu would be a good offensive attack that would force Itachi to use amaterasu. Itachi wouldn't really have anything else to use this that situation

Just one little fact you guys are ignoring. Itachi can use amaterasu and tsukiyomi faster than Kisame can form hand seals to use any of his jutsus.Its as simple as that.

Interesting battle.It depends on Itachi's ability to keep his distance because preserving chakra is his most important task; with knowledge I assume he will so I will give this to Itachi plus I think it was said somewhere that Itachi was more powerful.
