She is dead, as stated by Kakashi. She probably died in one of the wars since then.

Course, leave it up to Kishi to "surprise" poor Kakashi and bring her "back", maybe that will be the big thing that happens to him, as he said "Dark Blue" when referring to his future, and well, did'nt she wear dark blue? I don't remember.

I hope that Rin is still around, but I somehow doubt it as soon as Kakashi said their names when he was fading away. But who knows..maybe in a big twist Rin comes in and heals him lol.

i don't think Rin is dead...i think she went to a different village to try and move on without Obito....cause io like what Kakashi told her in his cronicles.....that obito loved her....she can't be dead....she is one on my favorite chacters......

casualty of war, kakashi said everyone close to him was dead (family members and friends are implyed by this statement) so rin is dead most likly a casualty of war. then later on he befriended naruto sakura sasuke and iruka and other people so that statement fails to support current events
