..I can say the same to you. You can't read the OP very carefully. The manga never stated he knew 1000 jutsu, but he copied 1000 jutsu.

Copying =/= Knowing

For example: If you take a test in school, and you copy, does that mean you're smarter?

Sorry, I don't remember anything about handwriting in part 1 unless it involves Chunin Written Exams.

:O What chapter did Sakura say Hiruzen copied 1000 jutsu

and i don't see how the bolded has to do with anything.

Yes I agree that he knows how to execute the jutsu, but my main point is that he cannot remember it all. It's basically the same has copying a test and forgetting it afterwards.

Sakura wasn't referring to Hiruzen as having copied 1,000 techniques, I don't believe. Just referring to their status as elite/incredible ninja.

I think it's hinting towards this, after KAkashi explained the roles of Kages:

Having the sharingan is like having a photographic memory. So I would imagine he can remember them all.

This beings up the debate can the sharningan users remember techniques after copying them or is it up to the user itself to remember the jutsu. Now my personal belief is that its up to the user because how can an eye remember anything its not the brain. But then again some do believe it can be instantly remembered after 1st use. It was never stated in the manga whether or not he can remember them so maybe he doesn't know 1000 jutsus but he did copy at least 1000 which is pretty impressive in itself.

Think about it. How many hand signs did he have to copy from Zabuza to execute Water Wave. There were like a hundred handsigns.

No one can memorize instantly. They would actually have to practice it.

It was Water Dragon Jutsu, a jutsu that he has shown to remember fully three years later in shippuden...

He carries the knowledge of several hundred jutsu, however he lacks the stamina to utilize them often, as well the reasons of tactics and familiarity...

Kishi said he COPIED. Not MASTERED. The definitions of those 2 words are completely different.

Copying =/= Mastering

It's just like taking a test. You can copy the person next to you, but does that mean you mastered that subject? No

When he copies with Sharingan, he uses it once. It doesn't mean he remembers it forever. Think about it. How many hand signs did he have to copy from Zabuza to execute Water Wave. There were like a hundred handsigns.

Orochimaru has mastered many techniques in 50 years, but people say Kakashi mastered 1000 in 30? lol

And as you say there is a difference between copying and mastering, there is clear difference between knowing and mastering as well....

Its simple if he does 1000 techniques in a single day he can even drain the kayubis chakra . He has very low chakra and to keep up with sharingan in fight he uses thaijutsu and once he knows their weaknesses he uses ninjutsu

The Sharingan pays close attention to detail and seems to act as a sort of photographic memory, it's obvious Kakashi can still use all of his copied jutsu's.

Also, comparing human memory to that of a manga character voids any credibility you had.

Since when did he have to master them to use them?

Copying them=Being able to use them.

two entirely different conversations.. she replied to that after hearing kakashi knows over 1000 jutsu, which the third hokage eariler was stated to have as well... The third is the hokage, reputed to be the strongest in the village, of course sakura really knows that he must be or have been an amazing ninja

I've never read that it allows them to remember any jutsu only copy it. So in other words the sharningan is only a tool and tools are only as good as the people using them. So if they do not have the mental capability to remember their copied jutsu than the sharningan is just an above average eye. It's not the eye that allows them to remember a technique but the brain and mental capacity of the the user.

Not my point.

Kakashi never proved to be able to use a jutsu that he copied again

If he copied it, then he learned how to use it, which means he can use it. Sharingan memorizes the hand seals copied so of course he will be able to use it again.
