Kakashi does not know 1000 jutsu

Kishi said he COPIED. Not MASTERED. The definitions of those 2 words are completely different.

Copying =/= Mastering

It's just like taking a test. You can copy the person next to you, but does that mean you mastered that subject? No

When he copies with Sharingan, he uses it once. It doesn't mean he remembers it forever. Think about it. How many hand signs did he have to copy from Zabuza to execute Water Wave. There were like a hundred handsigns.

Orochimaru has mastered many techniques in 50 years, but people say Kakashi mastered 1000 in 30? lol

I actually see your point in the whole "copying is not mastering" thing..

But honestly, he technically still knows 1,000 jutsu's. Whether copying them, nor mastering them, it doesn't make a slight difference whether he actually knows 1,000 jutsu's or not.

He copied a thousand of jutsu not mastered. He can though use jutsus that are not very difficult to remember such as the fireball technique BUT he has never used a variety of jutsu in a battle, he can only perform the ones that he can remember.
